(Denki's POV)

"Deeenkiiii~" Mina smiled. "We got you an early Valentine's Day gift!" She wrapped her pink arms around one of his, gesturing for the other members of their friend group to hurry up. "We know how much you really like that show, Cupid's University, and so we got you on their Valentine's Day special!"

"What? Really?!?" Denki felt his heart rate increase, at first out of excitement, then out of the fear of being on Cupid's show. Besides, it was a podcast about live. What was he supposed to do, confess his love for her on air?!!

Wait a minute. What if he indirectly confessed his love for her on air? It would be meaningful and special, not to mention personal. It wasn't a bad idea. He knew a lot of references from the show, and if he used talk that only she and other avid listeners would know, it wouldn't be so obvious it was embarrassing-"Dude, you're muttering like Midoriya." Kirishima nudged him. "You okay?"

"Yeah, just... Well, the thing is... I have a huge crush on Cupid, and we've been hanging out for a few weeks, so... I thought I might confess."

Everyone went silent, staring at him.

"What?" Denki said, hoping that they didn't think he was too much of a hopeless romantic.

"That's so adorable!" Mina screeched, hugging Denki tight. "I'm so happy for you! Finally, our baby is falling in love!" She swooned dramatically, pressing the back of her hand to her forehead.

"Can you guys help me plan what to do?" He asked, still nervous.

"Of course we can, Man! That's what friends are for!" Kirishima wrapped an arm around his shoulders, grinning. Bakugou smirked and rolled his eyes.

"As long as you don't fuck it up, Dunce Face. I wouldn't put it past you."

"Whoo! Even Bakugou's gonna help! And he's the one who surprised us all with getting a girlfriend first, so you know you're in good hands!"

"SHUT UP!" Bakugou sneered, his cheeks going red. "I'm a great fucking boyfriend, just ask Miyuki."

"We know. She brags about you all the time." Mina rolled her eyes jokingly. "Thank you for helping us, oh gracious Lord Explosion Murder."

Bakugou flushed at the tease, embarrassed he ever seriously tried to call himself that.

"Well, Denki," Sero said, sitting down next to him. "What kind of confession are you going for?"

"Well..."

~February 14th, Valentine's Day~

(Y/n's POV)

Y/n tapped her foot as she waited for her guest to arrive. Ever since Leo had found out who it was, he had sworn everyone else to secrecy. Y/n thought it was ridiculous to keep her in anticipation like this, but she couldn't really stop them. Especially since submissions were private, and only Yasushi had ownership of the site.

She was set up in the recording studio, and had tested her mic to perfection when the door finally opened.

Pink eyes met golden ones, and you could almost see the chemistry between the two.

"Denki? What-" she had to clear her throat, she didn't want her voice to give away her nerves. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm your guest..?" He said, looking nearly as nervous as she felt. Oh, so that's why Leo told everyone not to tell me, she thought. Explains a lot.

"Oh. Well, sit here." She placed a hand on the seat next to her and fiddled with the guest headset. He sat next to her, not looking her in the eyes. He looked more nervous than normal. Maybe he just want used to being on air.

After a couple rounds of mic checks, recording began.

(Denki's POV)

"Welcome, everyone, to Cupid's University, featuring me, Cupid, aka Y/n L/n, your modern-day Goddess of Love! Today we have a special guest, Denki Kaminari, a good friend of mine. Hey, Denki!"

"Hey, Cupid." Denki smiled, unable to help staring into her pink eyes. Y/n flushed and looked away, playing furiously with a strand of her hair.

"So, Denki, what's your story?"

Denki had rehearsed this for hours, he had memorized everything to say. But nothing could have prepared him for the rush of adrenaline and the heavy beating of his heart as he began to speak. "Well, there's this... girl."

A small smile tugged at Cupid's lips at the familiar reference.

"I've really liked her for a while, ever since I first heard her speak. I only met her in person a few weeks ago, and we've been spending time together ever since. I think I want to ask her out, but I don't know how. Not to mention, she's kind of oblivious to her own romantic situation... that, and she thinks dating someone would be selfish."

Denki took care not to look her in the eyes as he spoke. The eyes were the window to the soul, and if his words weren't already giving it away, he didn't want to drop any more hints before he finished.

"I really do like her, and just wish that she could give me a chance instead of immediately writing herself off. Her best friend agrees with me."

"Do you want my advice for the overall situation, or do you have a specific question?"

"Both, actually." He took a risk and glanced at her now. She wasn't smiling. His heart thumped anxiously against his chest, and he hoped that he hadn't messed it up.

"Well, if you like her, you should tell her how you feel, exactly how you did here. Be honest, and yourself. As long as I've known you, your personality has been nothing but sweet and amazing, so any girl would be lucky to have you. I really do wish you the best of luck, Denki."

The last part was quiet, and she seemed to be growing close to tears, to the point that she had angled her face out of his view.

"One last thing, Cupid."

"Yes?"

Denki took a deep breath, then began. "Your quirk gives you the ability to see someone's soulmate. So my question is... Do Love Gods have soulmates?"
