What Happened?

Chapter 7

A/N: Sorry I havent update this story in a while. I have been concentrating on 'Adopted by my dream family' but I will try and keep this updated. 

Colette's POV:

We arrived in London last night at 7. Today we have a lot planned. We are going to go to see the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and possibly some British YouTubers. I go to wake up the kids. I get Daxton out of the pac-n-play and change is diaper and put him in his little british polo shirt and little jeans. Then I go to get Brock and Gavin from their room. Then I get the girls from their room. I then go back into the main room and make everyone breakfast. They come out for breakfast.

We are about to head to the London Eye. There is one thing I haven't told Shay or the kids or maybe there are two. When Shay booked the trip I thought it would be amazing that we got a Private Capsule on the London Eye so I booked a Private capsule and I invited a Joe Sugg, Casper Lee, Zoe Sugg, and Aflie Deyes to come with us.  That's the first surprise, there is another one that he will find out when we get there.

We just arrived at the London Eye and we are boarding our capsule. I was just told that everyone was on it already so I told them to close their eyes. I guided them to the capsule.

"Guys open your eyes."  I said.

"okay" they say as they open their eyes. 

As they open their you can see that their facial expressions change greatly. Avia goes from a very scared face to a surprised face; Gavin goes from a normal face to a shocked face; Emmi went from a happy face to a confused face; Brock actually hasn't seen the English youtubers for a while so he is confused; Daxton is too young to remember the last time we saw them so he starts crying; Shay's face is the one the makes me laugh, he has the face he uses when he wins a prize by surprise. Shay hasn't seen the other surprise guest yet. I want to wait a little bit so everyone can talk for a little.

—30 minutes later—

Everyone is now relaxing so I think it is a great time to reveal the surprise to Shay.

"Guys. Please sit or stand somewhere. I have a surprise for my family but mainly Shay. At least I think he will be the most surprised" I say as everyone finds their seats or an area to stand. Right next to me there is a table with something on it with a table cloth over it.

"I have been planning this surprise for a while now, since before the kids' bus accident. I really think that this is going to change our lives." I start to tear up, "When I was told that this was going to happen I was very excited and then when Avia, Emmi, and Gavin got in the bus crash it felt way more special. When Gavin called us on the day of the crash saying 'Our bus crashed, emmi and I are fine but Avia is unconcious' I really didn't know what to think, I was probably thinking that Avia could be gone forever. I am glad that the heavenly father let my little Avia to stay and finish her long life. When that happened it was really hard to keep this a secret because I knew that no matter what happened this would change our lives." I really start to tear up, "Ok, now on with the surprise" I start to take the table cloth off very slowly, "before you all get excited. Wait till I pull it off and explain it" I pull it all the way off, I see shay expression change. "Kids, this is a check for 1 million dollars given to us by President Obama. He gave us this check for the outstanding things we have done and the amazing amount that we inspire people. Shay before you take out your camera, I want to tell you how I found out. So it was about 3 weeks before the accident and I had received an email from John Kerry, the secretary of state. I couldn't believe it was him so I called the number that was given at the signature of the email and John Kerry answered the phone. When he told me that President Obama wanted to give us the check I was astonished. He asked if I could fly out and get the check and I said that I didnt want you to know so I told him to meet me at Maker when I went for the shoots. So when I went to Maker a week before the accident, I brought it home and left it in Grandma and Grandpas basement." I finish saying, Shay comes up to give me a hug and then he takes out his camera and vlogs. I can't believe that this actually happened. This WILL most definitely change our lives!
