Bea Lupin was in a very peaceful sleep when her brother barged inside her room and relentlessly threw pillows at her. She shot up, furious and was about to tackle him to the ground when he said,
"Stop! You can't kill me you have to get ready, we're leaving in 30 minutes!" Bea sat there fuming, when she slowly said,
"Get. Out. Now." Remus chuckled, left the room and said,
"You're always a joy in the morning Bee!" She threw her hairbrush at the door, and he ran as fast as he could downstairs so he wouldn't actually be murdered. Bea finally got out of the bed and took a quick shower. When she got out, she started looking for a fashionable outfit which included her plaid dress layered over a white turtleneck, heels, and jewelry.
She grabbed her trunk and pinned her hair up with her wand and left to go downstairs. She walked into the kitchen and smiled at her brother as he read his book and drank his tea. She said good morning and ruffled his hair as she sent him a mischievous smile. Bea plopped down into her seat and started stuffing her face with her mother's amazing cooking. She looked up to see Remus staring at her with an amused look on his face.
"Wha?" She mumbled with a mouth full of food. He sent her a cheeky grin and said,
"Nothing bees." She ignored him and kept scarfing down food but stopped when her parents came down to greet them.
"Good morning my lovely children!" their father chirped. Their mother greeted them softly by kissing them on the head.
"I see you've enjoyed the food I made Bea." Hope laughed. Bea looked down and there were crumbs and food all over. She blushed and mumbled,
"A bit."
Everybody laughed and finished their own food. Their father, Lyall, looked at the time and said,
"Bloody hell! We're going to be late! Hurry up kids come on!"
Bea and Remus hopped out of their seats and grabbed their trunks and other belongings and said goodbye to their mother while she wished them a safe trip. Hope smiled at her children leaving the home and sent them a wave as they drove off. Soon they made it to Kings Cross station. Remus went through to the platform first, then Bea, then Lyall. When all the Lupins were successfully onto the platform Lyall grabbed his children and said,
"I'm going to miss you two! Oh god, who will save me from your mother?" The twins laughed and hugged their father tightly then said goodbye. Lyall watched his children enter the scarlet red train with tears in his eyes.
Bea shoved past the first years as she tried to find and empty compartment when she bumped into a wall. Only that was not a wall. It was the very handsome, very arrogant, James Potter. She immediately said,
"Oh my god I'm so, so, sorry." James looked down to see a shy brunette fumbling with her hands, looking anywhere but him. He smirked and replied,
"No problem sweetheart." She tried to get past him but he wouldn't let her go that easily.
"What's your name love?" He questioned.
"Bea." She mumbled, heat rising to her cheeks. James now was intrigued. He wanted to know more about this Bea.
"Say, Bea do you like quidditch?" James asked. Bea froze, she hated quidditch which is something she felt very strongly about.
"Absolutely not, I don't understand how anyone can find such sport as anything other than barbaric!" Bea ranted, "And I absolutely think it should be banned from Hogwarts because of the injuries alone, and don't get me started about how many fights it makes, absolutely disgusting!" She continued. James stood there flabbergasted and enraged. How dare she insult the best thing ever made in the wizarding world!
"Barbaric? It is not barbaric it's fun!" He argued, "It shows teamwork, excellent sportsmanship, and especially extremely skilled broom flying!" He continued, trying to argue his point. He was about to yell again when he saw Remus, Peter, and Sirius bounding down the hallway.
"James why in the bloody hell are you talking to my sister?" Remus questioned scarily calm. Now all of the marauders paused. Sirius had a look of pure shock on his face. Peter's eyes got as wide as saucers. And James, he was frozen with his mouth wide open. And that is when Remus knew he messed up. Questions started flying at him.
"YOU HAVE A SISTER?"
"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL US MATE?"
"HOW DID WE NOT KNOW THIS?"
Remus and Bea just sat there and blinked. Remus lead his friends into their compartment and started to explain.
