"Kitni baar tujhse kaha hai yahan mat aaya kar. Tujhe samajh nahi aata?" an old lady shouts at her.

"Main.... Main bas ball... ball lene aayi thi, dadi." the six year old girl says scaredly.

"Ye koi khel ka maidan hai? Jaa yahan se! Dobara mat aana." the lady scolds her.

The girl looks at the lady tearily. She's scared with her grandma's scoldings. She runs to  her room, crying. She hears the old lady saying to her mom that she should not see her anytime.

She runs to another room and falls on the bed, crying. It's been the scene for her since last one year. Her grandparents are always scolding her. Her mother doesn't say a word against them. All she feels is that she's being ignored in the big family.

****

It's dinner time, and a boy of 12 years enters the room. He holds her hand.

"Chalo Princess, khana khane!" he says.

"Nahi, bhaiya! Dadi dantengi fir se." She replies scaredly.

"Nahi dantengi! Main hoon na! Tu mere sath chal!" The boy says, trying to convince her.

"Nahi! Fir dadi aapko bhi dantengi." she says innocently.

The boy denies and the girl follows him. As they reach the dining table, they sit together and seeing her favorite aloo paratha on the table, the little girl extends her hand, but someone slapped her hand sharply. It was her grandma again.

"Apni maa se nahi maang sakti? Haath lagana zaroori hai? Hamare yahan aisa nahi hota." the lady scolds her.

"Dadi..." the girl just spoke but the old lady again scolds her.

"Tu mujhe dadi mat keh. Aur ja yahan se. Aaram se khana khane de." The lady scolds her.

The girl gets teary and looks at her mother who's silent at the moment. The boy tries to talk to his grandma but she shushes him. Even his mom asks him to eat the food, Infact she feeds him with her hands.

The little girl looks at them tearily. She feels anger bubbling inside her heart.

"I hate you! You've taken in everything from me! I hate you!!" she murmurs and runs in her room, closing it with a bang.

But why's she angry?

Who is she? And who's the young boy?

Why does the old lady keep scolding her?

Stay tuned to know more.
