The day had started like any other.

Kevin and his half sister, Kiana, sat on opposite sides of the bus, doing their own things as it rolled towards Woodsboro High.

When the bus pulled up, the two went their separate ways. Kevin going off to his first period alone, and Kiana heading off with Corey and Liv to their first period.

Kevin entered his first class, Physics, and sat in the back next to Wes and Tara. "So...what are we doing tonight?" Kevin asks, looking between them. Wes shrugs, while Tara sighs. "Staying home...alone." The blonde nods.

"What about Corey? Apparently she said you broke up with her?" The brunette shakes her head sitting back in her seat. "I called her for three hours that day and she never answered, I was pissed. Like she does this shit all the time." Tara was clearly frustrated, but he treaded carefully.

"Wes." Wes who was looking at his phone, looks over to her. "Do you text Kev back every time he texts you?" Wes is confused but nods. "That's because he's so nice to me." Kevin says, pecking Wes on the cheek.

"You see! You guys are cute and intimate. Corey never calls back, and when we're together she begs me to have sex with her." Kevin frowns, pulling her in for a side hug.

"It's okay, she sucks sometimes." Tara sighs, leaning intro the hug.

Then came lunch, Kevin and Wes walked over to their group of friends, sitting. "Where's Amber and Kee?" Kevin asks. "Probably making out somewhere, they kiss like slobbery dogs." Mindy chuckles.

Tara had walked over as well, actively avoiding Corey's gaze. "Hi, Tara." She calls out. "Corey." Mindy looks around.

"Can you guys not do this? I'm trying to have a good day." Corey sighs, pulling out a cigarette. She lights it before helping herself. "I gotta go anyways, I'll see y'all after school." She walks away tugging on her leather jacket, Tara watching after her.

"God, that was awkward." Liv mutters. As soon as Corey leaves, Amber and Kiana replace her. The two were slightly disheveled. Kiana's faintly red lipstick caked on Amber's neck.

Kiana's hair no longer in the bun it had been in all day up until now. Amber had a goofy smirk on her face as they sat.

"Amber never smiles this much." Kevin points out. "Fuck you, Kev." Kiana chuckles, connecting their hands. "You make me gag." He smiles back.

"Whatever. What's up with Corey?" Amber asks, looking over at Corey who was standing next to a shady looking guy. She hands him money before looking around and walking back towards the school.

She was mainly asking Tara, who shrugs. "Complicated." The girl hums at her friend.

The day went normally for everyone, and so by the end of the day, everyone had sat on some benches near the bus lanes.

"I gotta get home." Tara announces, considering it would start to get dark in an hour or so. Corey stood up, holding her jacket on her shoulder. "I'll walk you."

Everyone looked at Tara as if she was a ticking time bomb, and Amber was silently pleading that she didn't go with Corey.

"Uh, okay." The two went off as the friends gossiped from behind them.

Tara never felt nervous around Corey, but she was intimidating when she wanted to be and was very protective of Tara. So she felt intimidated with the taller girl walking next to her closely.

Corey didn't mind being that for Tara, she didn't mind doing anything for her either.

She gave up a lot for Tara, mostly being cigarettes. "I thought you quit." Tara mentions as the walk home, avoiding Corey's face as the girl blew out cigarette smoke. "I quit because of you." She blows out smoke, before dumping the bud on the ground.
