Kira's P.O.V

As I walked through the Forest Fire pack house, I placed one hand on my barely noticeable baby bump, and couldn't stop my heart burning with rage and joy. The first step in my plan is about to take place. This will free me, my husband and my son from their evil paws. The idea of having to hand my daughter over to them to do so is heart breaking, but it will be best for all of us in the long run. The guards were standing tall and proud with their shoulders back, and a mischievous smirk on their lips, outside the Alpha's office. I easily recognised them from my many encounters with Alpha Brett Young. After all I am the pack witch, although sometimes I feel more like the pack bitch. I have no choice anymore.

Alex spoke first, "Kira, the Alpha didn't say you were coming today."

I nodded, "He didn't summon me, I have important news."

Alex chuckled, "You know he doesn't like to be disturbed."

I stood my ground, "Trust me, he'll want to hear this." Alex nodded towards Raymond, and Raymond stepped inside. The Alpha's mind blocks must be up. After a moment Raymond returned in front of me, holding the door open for me to pass. I entered and was greeted with the all too familiar face of the man controlling my every move.

He smiled kindly at me, as if I was an old friend, "Kira my dear, I didn't realise I called you in today. Must have slipped my mind!"

I shook my head, "No Alpha, you didn't call me in today. I am here because I have important news. You always said if something important happened, I was to go straight to you."

He raised an eyebrow, "And what has happened?"

I looked him straight in the eye, "I am pregnant."

He chuckled, "Is that all? You know how I view that, I thought I told you to be more careful. Last time you were pregnant, you nearly burned one of my wolves alive . . . Terminate it."

I didn't flinch, "You won't want that when you hear what I have to say."

He raised an eyebrow, "Continue." He gestured for me to sit at his elaborate desk.

I sat and told him what he needed to hear, keeping some of the truth to myself, "I am having a girl, she will have no powers, but she will be vital for you to end the war with the Crescent Moon pack, as winners. She is to be the mate of their future Alpha, Isaac. If you make her believe she is your sons mate, you can use her as leverage to form a treaty-"

He snorted, "I thought you said a winner!"

I responded, "Let me finish. She will be traded, and she will want nothing more than to be wolf. That will be her undoing. Once she is with Isaac, she will convince him to turn her. His bite will kill her, leaving Isaac and the Crescent Moon pack in mourning and unable to defend themselves from your attack."

He sat back, "And you would be willing to let your daughter die?"

I nodded, hating the words I was speaking, "This deal comes with conditions."

He folded his arms over his chest, "Such as?"

I replied, "Your son will not come near her until she is sixteen. She cannot know about witchcraft or werewolves until she reaches this age, and she can never find out about our involvement. I will push her away at the age of sixteen, and your son can then make her fall for him. Make her trust him. You must treat her just as you would a Luna, with kindness and respect. Do this, and we have a deal."

The smile that spread across his evil face made me feel ill, but when he extended his hand for me to shake, I did so without hesitation. This plan would save my family . . . All my family.
