Chapter 9

~Enders POV~

I got used to everybody here and they are really nice. I flu to Jordan's house, stopping and knocking on his front door when I arrived.
Jordan answered with puffy red eyes.
"H-hey E-ender"
"Jordan what happened"
"T-Tiffany. I thought s-she had ch-changed"
"Tiffany? She so nice to everyone"
"N-no when s-she wants s-something s-she gets i-it"
"What do you mean"
"I caught her and Tom making out alright!"
He yelled, breaking out into sobs and his tears streaming rapidly down his cheeks.
"How many times has he hurt you???"
"Twice, the other one you found me in the forest wasn't because of him"
"Oh Jordan"
I pulled him into a hug and wrapped my black dragon wings around him.
"I heard Eleanor's sister is coming today, lets go meet her"
He smiled and we walked with Andrea and Silver to the castle to meet up with Eleanor and everyone.

~Jordan's POV~

The princesses blue eyes met with mine. She's so pretty. She has long ginger hair, blue eyes, a red, yellow and orange sun dress, she's wearing a gold necklace with a flame on the end and a gold bracelet, gold flats, peach eye shadow, red lip stick, lightly tanned skin, a gold tiara and red transitioning to yellow angel looking wings.
"Hello everyone, I'm Phoenix"
"So everyone his is my sister and for her welcoming is a ball tonight."
Eleanor said proudly.
I smiled as everyone cleared and talked about the ball and I went to ask Phoenix to go with me.
"I'd love to"
She said blushing.

~time skip~

I waited in the ball room with everyone. Everyone in groups with their dates.
Sonja and Tucker, Tom and Tiffany, Andrea and Wag, Ender and Dec, Silver and Ethan(Tiffany's brother), Eleanor and Andor, Martha and Steve and me and Phoenix.
I looked at Phoenix wearing her necklace and bracelet, red, orange and yellow ball gown, gold flats, her hair down, tiara placed neatly on her head, red lip stick and gold eye shadow.
The slow song came on and I took her hand and started dancing.
She placed her arms around my neck and mine on her waist and we spin and step slowly to the song.

Then we kissed.

[Toms POV]

I didn't focus on Tiffany at all during the dance, my eyes where glued to Jordan and Phoenix who where dancing and talking after each verse. Then just after the song ended they kissed. I also saw that Jordan wasn't wearing his ring, he has given up. I wiped fallen tears from my cheeks and excused myself. I ran out of the ball room and sat on the castle steps. I sobbed quietly and waited until he ball was over. Later on Ender came out and looked at me.
"What's wrong?"
She asked, starring at the ring on my left hand.
"I love Jordan and Tiffany came on me and tried to kiss me and when she did Jordan saw and... I never got the chance to explain what happened"
"You've really done it this time ya know"
"How?"
I asked her, whipping my cheeks.
"I heard him saying that he's falling for Phoenix"
I squeezed my eyes and pulled out my phone. I texted Jordan everything and said I was sorry, though he never answered. I shook my head and got up to leave when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see the person I wanted to see the least.
"Hey I don't think we got to meet properly yet. I'm Phoenix"
(Thought it was going to be Tiffany huh?)
"I'm Tom"
"Why you crying?"
She asked with a concerned face.
"My fiancée thought I was cheating on me and completely gave up on me"
"Awww who was the lucky lady?"
"Uh actually it was Jordan"
"Oh... I see... I don't have to be around him if you don't like"
She was so sweet and wanting to make me happy.
"I just want him back"
"It must be hard... I mean it's not everyday a Dianite follower cries"
"Wait how did you know???"
"What a fellow Dianite follower can't help another?"
"Wait you follow Dianite?"
"Of course!"
She squealed and hugged me quickly before she gave me a slip of paper and smiled sadly at me.
"I'm sorry for everything, maybe I can talk to him?"
I nod and she gives me a hug, pulling away and slipping her necklace over my head.
"Well good bye... brother"
"Wait what"
She waved and smiled, heading back inside to the ball room.
