Molly's p.o.v

I leaned back against the brick wall that was located in the back of the library, I pushed my glasses up and continued to read the book I was assigned to right a essay on. Collage was stressful, but better the high school.

I heard people running and cheering outside; I stood up and looked out the huge window that was right beside me. Great, the soccer game was going on today. Mostly everyone who attended my school went, even that one guy named Niall who I always enjoy drawing.

He probably didn’t even know who I was though, I’m not the type of girl who he usually hangs out with. “Hey Molly!” Amy whispered shouted at me, I glanced at her and walked towards her. “C’mon we’re going to be late.” She grabbed my hand and practically dragged me out of the quiet library.

“Late for what?” I asked and quickly shoved my glasses into my bag; I could tell she was slightly smirking when we made out way towards the soccer field. “Amy, no.”

“Amy, yes.” She mocked me and I felt like I was going to vomit, everyone was being so loud and I just wanted to go back to my dorm room.

“Do we have too?” I asked, she nodded.

“Well, my boyfriend is on the damn team so yes we do.” She was right, id rather support our schools team then not. I loved soccer, I really did, but from this school not having a girls team I had no choice but to not join any sports this year.

We sat down in the front row, luckily there wasn’t that many people as I thought there was. I heard Amy scream to her boyfriend Louis, he looked at us and so did Niall. I noticed he shook his head and whispered something into Louis’ ear, I felt like he was talking about me and not in a good way either.

The game started and I took out my sketch book, I started to watch Niall as he would run and kick the ball straight into the net earning a goal for our team. His blond hair swayed in the wind and the sun shined off of it as well, his white t-shirt was attached to his chest from the sweat forming on his well toned body. His knees were already full of mud and his muscles looked amazing ran he ran.

I realized he was stealing glances at me, heat started to form on my face and I looked down. “Did you see that?” Amy whispered, I nodded, “He so wants you.”

I laughed, “Probably not.”

“Why not?”

“Because I’m me and I suck.” She shoved me slightly, “It’s the truth.” I pushed a piece of my brown hair behind my ear.

“Molly shut up, you’re beautiful.” I shook my head not agreeing with her, “Louis told me that 90% of the team thinks you’re very attractive.”

“Really?” I looked up at her wide eye, what if Niall said anything?!

She giggled, “Yes Molly I wouldn’t lie to you.”

A smile made its way onto my face and I couldn’t help but feel great, I looked towards the field leaving my eyes on Niall who was smirking at me. His blue eyes starring into my green ones as if he knew everything about me, I bit my lip and looked down again.

I shouldn’t be thinking about these things, he’s not good, he’s a player and sleeps around with a lot of girls. I’m positive he has a girlfriend as well from what I heard.

I felt Amy pinch my leg and I looked up realizing he was right infront of me covered in sweater holding onto his water bottle, “Hey, you’re Molly right?”

I nodded, feeling like I couldn’t speak at all so I just sat there watching him. He smiled, “I’m Niall.”

“I-I know.” I croaked and coughed.

He titled his head, “Here you sound thirsty.” He passed me his water bottle and I hesitantly took a small sip.

“Thanks.” He nodded and kneeled down in front of me, Amy got up and hugged Louis. “Um you did well out there.”

“Thank you.” He ran his hand through his wet hair, “You look very pretty today.”

I bit the inside of my mouth trying not to let out a laugh, “Really?”

“Yes.” He got back up when the coach blew his annoying whistle, “Say you should come to this party tonight! I’m pretty sure your friend Amy will going, it’s to celebrate today’s game.”

“Maybe.” He waved bye and I couldn’t help but cover my mouth so nobody could see the crazy smile I had on.

He was so beautiful, even when he was sweating and out of breath I couldn’t help but allow my heart beat rapidly. This was the first time I ever spoke to him; his Irish accent was literally everything.
