Chapter 4: Meeting the mates

The next day I woke up in someone else's bed. I immediately got up and looked around. I have never seen this bedroom before and I didn't know what to do.

Then a door opened and Zane come out in a towel. "Your finally awake."
I was just staring into space. "What's the matter. You like what you see." I didn't have any words. I just laid back down.

Zane chuckled and walked towards me. "Can you please put some clothes on." I covered my eyes hoping he would get dressed.

A few minutes later Zane, Jessie and someone else I didn't recognize in the kitchen. I sat down next to Jessie and whispered in her ear "Who is that?" Jessie looked at me confused. "I thought you knew. He is Zane's younger brother Ashton. He was at college for the past few years. He just finished and is home permanently from now on."

Ashton looked at me and I introduced myself. "Hi Im Kaitlyn. " He shook my. "I know. My brother wouldn't stop talking about you while I was still at college."

Zane dropped a spoon and looked angry. Maybe he expected Ashton to keep it a secret. "You were talking about me. " I said with a smile on my face and Zane's face turned red. "Why did you say that out loud. You are bad at keeping secrets." Zane growled. I was trying not to laugh but instead I giggled.

We went outside to go train and I asked Ashton. "You dont like having your scent released? " I asked Ashton. He looked disappointed. "I don't think my mate would want me. She might be perfect and I am not." he said.

He looked at Jessie and instantly knew. "Is Jessie your mate?" I asked excited. "Yes she is." he sighed. Then I figured out a way to get them together. I called both Ashton and Jessie to meet me at the shed.

When they got there I locked them in the shed. "Hey what are you doing Kaitlyn." she asked me and I just said. "Well Ashton has something to tell you. And I won't let you guys out until he tells you."

I smiled and walked away. I went back to the shed to see if he told her and when I got there I saw Ashton releasing his scent. Once Jessie smelled him she knew he was his mate and she kissed him.

I unlocked the door and let them out. I smiled and were mad. I went back to the house and saw Zane walking around the house alone. I followed him till he went to his room.

I knocked on the door before I went in. "Hey are you ok. You look worried." I said concerned. He looked at me as if I was the most precious gem in the world. He walks past me and closed the door.

"What are you doing?" I asked nervously. He turned to me and looked deep into my eyes. I was mesmerized by his dark green eyes that I completely forgot my question.

"If I had to tell you something big what would you do?" He whispered in my ear. He held my waist and for some reason I liked it.

Zane released his scent and it smelled so good. Then I realised it is th same smell from the night I  collapsed. His my mate. I looked at him and kissed him
