Chapter 9 | Kaitlyn's past

When I was five my mom gave birth to my brother and sister. They are twins. Lily and Adam. We loved tem to bits.

They would always get into trouble but I always took the blame. When they turned 6 they started shifting.

They would want to play in their wolf form everyday. I wasn't like them. I only shifted when I was 16.

And when I did that is when I realized I had the power of fire.

My pack was terrified but I made sure to tell them I wouldn't hurt them.

Lily and Adam were scared of me for a few days. I would practice using my power so I wouldn't go out of control.

When I shifted everyone loved Abigail because of her whit and black fur. The pack called me a blood hound. I didn't know what that was until I did some research.

And when I found out that even alpha's were scared of blood hounds I decided not to use my powers unless its an emergency.

Then when I was 18 and Lily and Adam were 13. We were celebrating are packs 132 anniversary of making a peace treaty with the vampires.

But that all changed when the vampires got there and saw my powers.

"Its a blood hound."said a vampire. We all stood there with nothing to say. Then the vampire king Jayce came and then ordered the vampire to capture me.

The pack fought them and tried to protect me. Most of the pack ended up dieing.

I shifted and burned some of the vampires but my fire got out of control when I saw my mom died trying to protect me.

I ended up killing the rest of my pack and some other vampires. I thought I killed my brother and sister too.

Present time

"Now that I know that they are alive I want to rescue them. And I just want my family back" I said with a tear running down my cheek.

Zane came close to me and gave me a hug. "We will do our best to get them back." Zane said. I was so happy I squealed and hugged him tighter.
