~~Ari's POV~~

I stood at the boarding gate, clenching my fists in frustration.

Four hours.

Four hours late.

What type of airline makes the customer wait for four hours.

Not one I'm gonna ever go on again.

I snuck a quick glance at Nikki, who was bopping her head along to a song playing through her Beats. I leaned a bit closer and heard an unfamiliar tune.

"What are you listening to?" I asked, finally getting her attention. Her hazel eyes flicked to me, arching an eyebrow as she put her headphones around her neck.

"Gold Forever…" she began, only continuing after I raised an eyebrow. "By The Wanted?" I nodded, still clueless. Luckily, she didn't notice and slipped her Beats back on, disappearing into her own world. I turned and snuck a look at Mindy, who rolled her eyes at Nikki.

"Idiot," she muttered, shooting me a quick smile.

"No shit, Sherlock," I snapped, running a hand through my diseveled black hair. After looking at Mindy's annoyed face, I sighed. "Sorry. I'm just pissed. We've waited for hours." Mindy understandingly nodded, sitting back down in a chair.

"Patience," she calmly stated. "It'll be here soon." Wondering how she could ever be calm, I decided to take a seat next to her. Just as I sat down, the overhead voice was heard.

"All passengers boarding Flight 323 please board now, all passengers boarding Flight 323 please board now." I lept out of the chair and shook Nikki's shoulders, knocking her out of her dazed state. Mindy snickered, grabbing her cabin bag and dragging Nikki and me by the hand.

"Come on," she demanded. "We are not waiting any longer." Nodding, I picked up my black bag and ran to the gate, only to be held back by Nikki.

"Damn, slow down," she exclaimed, blowing her honey locks out of her eyes. I shrugged her off and ran, dragging my best friends along with me. I felt myself bumping and shoving, but honestly? I didn't care.

Finally, I saw the plane's interior, complete with hostesses and airline food. Nikki smiled, running ahead of me. She stopped at the rather large, burly guard. Sheepishly grinning, she nodded, moving to the interior and dragging Mindy along.

"We're finally here! Yes! Finally!" she excitedly said, a smile brighting up her porcelain features. Mindy, snagging the window seat, pushed her purse under the seat, picking up a magazine and scanning it. Nikki sat in the middle, looking through the front seat's pocket for airplane stuff. I placed myself at the last row, a smile finally resting on my lips.

"Umm……Ari?" I glanced at Nikki, who was pointing at the people opposite of us.

"Hmm?"

"Are those…terorrists?" she quietly asked, fear shadowing her orbs. I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

"Are you serious? What makes you think that- oh." I stopped short in my sentence and rested my gaze at the three men opposite us. Hoodies covering their faces, slouching in their seats, dark sunglasses framing their eyes…honestly, I could understand her fear.

"Yeah. Oh," she mocked, slouching in her seat. I decided to confront them, only to bump into two girls. The curls on the girl's head bounced as she helped me and the brunette up.

"Sorry," she said, a Southern accent evident in her voice. "Didn't see you." The brunette nodded.

"Yeah, Hannah and I are sorry," she agreed, poking her friend. "Right Hannah?"

"Yeah, Scarlett. I got it. Sorry." I shrugged it off.

"It's fine," I replied, flashing a quick smile at the two girls. They moved away, taking their seats, which were right in front of us.

After my account with Scarlett and Hannah, I moved to the hooded figures, tapping one of the men on the shoulder. He shifted and turned to look at me, glasses over his eyes.

"Yes?" I felt my throat get stuck as a bold accented voice escaped his mouth.

"I hate to be a downer, but...um...my friend kind of thinks you guys are-"

"We're not," the next man quickly said, lowering his shades to reveal startlingly grey eyes. I raised an eyebrow, a smirk creeping on my face, but I curled my fists up and stepped back.

"Mate, I believe she thinks we're terorrists," the third man stated, amusement in his...Irish voice? A fourth man, who sat in front of the other men,  lowered his hood, muttering something to yet another man.

Five terorrist…

"We're not," he insisted, and at this point, I saw that blonde girl-Hannah- stand up and go next to me.

"Then what are y'all?" she asked, jutting out her hip and standing next to me. I smirked and nodded, examining the hooded figures.

"We're-"

"Fasten your seatbelts and take a seat, girls. We are currently over water." A strict, friendly voice came from a flight attendant, to whom I dutily listened, sitting back in my seat. I saw Hannah curse a bit and went to sit next to Scarlett, who seemed to be amused by the exchange. I slouched in my seat, staring at the boys with wide dark eyes. Nikki tapped my shoulder, bringing my attention to her.

"Hmm?" I asked.

"Ari, don't worry 'bout it. I'm sure that they're normal guys." Mindy nodded.

"Yeah. Nikki's just an idiot," she casually remarked, bringing a weary smile to my face. Nikki playfully slapped her shoulder. Then she widened her eyes.

"We're flying," she commented, awestruck by the obvious. I sighed.

"Yeah, we're flying…" Now, Mindy's eyes widened, bringing a wave of shock toward me, since Mindy is normally calm.

"What's wrong?" I asked. Her face paled as she grabbed onto the sidebar.

"We're going down," she muttered, ringing the emergency bell. A flight attendant rushed over, obviously knowing what was going on.

"We'll be fine, ma'am. Just stay calm," she reassured Mindy. I heard a scream from in front and saw Scarlett, slouching in her seat, face pale and unconscious. Hannah was shaking her, calling her name repeatingly. I felt the plane take another dive and fell, injuring my head a bit.

"Ari, get up," Nikki urged, pulling me up. The screams and shouts for help were increasing, the echos filling the room. I stood up, removing the lifevest from underneath me. I gestured to my friends, who already had done what was needed.

"Attention passengers. We may need to crash in water. Please follow safety instructions as shown," the pilot said through the PA, his voice slightly trembling. I sas Hannah stand up, waving her arms around.

"Y'all better be joking. Scar's unconscious. Someone help!" I moved up, as well as Mindy and Nikki, but the hostess stopped us.

"Take care of yourselves," she intstructed, pushing us back down.  I felt my heart speed up and snuck a look at our 'terorrists,' who themselves were panicking, throwing on lifevests. I blinked once and then something occurred to me.

This was one of those things you only see on T.V.

And it was happening.

To us.

I snapped back into reality as I felt another jerk downwards, sending me to hit my head. Mindy was freaking out, same with Nikki. I felt another jerk, and screams were heard.

"Nikki!" I shouted, as she was panicking to the extreme. "We'll be fine!" I saw the flash of fear and worry in her eyes, and stopped myself.

"How do you know?" she screamed back. As my mind racked for an answer, I realized something.

I didn't know.
