Night
Jay's house"Dada...sorry...", Ae-Cha whispered softly, fisting the fabric of Jay's tee from behind, who was busy cooking the food, not responding to the girl. It was what he was doing since they returned from school. He was doing everything with a happy smile on his face but Ae-Cha knew that it wasn't genuine. He wasn't responding to her as if she wasn't even there.
Taking the steaming, hot bowl of soupy noddles, he made his way towards the hall, ignoring the girl trailing behind him while fisting his tee like a child, with a sad pout on her lips.
Jay didn't spare her a glance as he plopped down on the couch, grabbing the remote and switching the television on, ignoring Ae-Cha completely, who sat beside him.
"Dada...", She softly called again but he paid no attention as he slurped his noddles with his gaze fixed on the television screen.
She sighed sadly before wrapping her arms around his bicep and pressing her left cheek against his shoulder.
She stared at him with a sad pout before hugging his arm even tighter and diverting her gaze towards the T.V. screen.
Jay, on not hearing another sorry from her, stole a glance at her, feeling the urge to hug her tightly after seeing her sad expressions but refrained himself from doing so.
He lifted some noddles with his chopsticks and brought them in front of her mouth, knowing that she hadn't eaten anything after coming from school. Her eyes widened on seeing him offering her a bite. She looked at him with wide, doe eyes reminding Jay of her younger self, however, he decided not to melt and continue his act.
"Eat it before I change my mind.", He spoke coldly, staring at her emotionlessly.
Ae-Cha nodded timidly before opening her mouth and accepting the bite. Jay smiled internally while staring at the screen but didn't show it physically.
After chewing the noddles and swallowing the bolus, Ae-Cha leaned forward and opened her mouth, asking for another bite.
"Eat it yourself.", Jay muttered, passing the bowl towards her.
However, Ae-Cha shook her head, not taking the bowl from him.
"You feed me or else I'll not eat.", She murmured slowly, staring at him with a pout.
Jay heaved out a small sigh, deciding not to argue as he didn't want her to starve. So, he lifted some noddles with the chopsticks and offered another bite to her which she accepted happily.
Jay tried to contain his smile while feeding her when he saw her cute, round eyes, glancing at him from time to time to check if he was still mad or not.
"Done?", Jay asked, trying to sound as cold as he could. Ae-Cha nodded slowly before standing up from the couch, wanting to sleep after a long day.
