Chapter 2- The Goodbyes

SKYS POV:

I heard a VERY familiar voice say, "I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!" I never knew these words could change both Mine and my unborn child's life forever.....

Stone and I were escorted off to the Justice Hall where we will say goodbye to our families. This could be the last time we ever see them. I hope my child never has to go through this... That is, if we both come out alive! Just then my Mother came in. Idon't have a father anymore. He was killed in a mining 'accident' last year. I honestly think it was one of the capitols warnings but they insist it isn't.... My mother was crying a river. "It's okay, Mom." I tell her. "No its not!" she replies, My 17 year old pregnant daughter is going into an arena fighting for her and her child's life!" "It's fine mom! I'll try my hardest to make it out! I will try! I promise!" then a peace keeper came and drug my mother out. "I love you mom!" was the last thing I said before the door was slammed shut and then opened again revealing my older sister, Paige. She walked in and gave me a huge hug. "Cant. Breath." I breathed out. "Sorry! I just. I don't." She said. I just want you to stay alive! I want you to come out of that arena and give birth to you child!" Her voice cracked as she said this and she started sobbing uncontrollably. "I'll be fine!" I said back to her. "I will try my hardest to come home! I promise I will try! For you. For mom. For my child!" I stated confidently. B-but if I  come out, Stone won't...." I finally reached my breaking point. I starting bawling. Our final minutes together before the games are over. " I promise I will try Paige! I love you!" I said just as the door was slamming shut. Goodbye District 12... I might never see you again. If i do,  I will be changed. I will be a women. I will be a different person. I will be alone. And never ever date anyone ever again if stone dies. I might be dead next time you see me District 12! Either way, you will see me again someday. Whether I'm dead or alive, you will always be my home.....

STORY TIME: so I never raise my hand in class and I haven't all school year yet and it is like the 105th day of school and I raised it in science today and my teacher called on me and flipped out! haha and then she says, "You get the first  BONER POINT of the week!" That's right.... I get a boner point in science!(; haha she meant to say BONUS POINT..... Or I hope so at least... haha but BEST. TEACHER. EVER.

Welp! Time for me to go! Love you all my pink and purple unicorns!!(:
