"He doesn't believe me". Death was sitting in a nearby cafe, staring mindlessly into his coffee that's long gone cold and ruffling his always perfect hair.

"Oh my god, Death, what's wrong?"

He raised his eyes to see Love, his coworker, negotiation expert and a best friend. She sat down at his table with a worried expression.

"I.. I don't know what to do, Love. I tried to confess my feelings to him, but all I got was-"

"To whom? That idiot man again?" everyone in their team knew that something was happening between the chief and his first assistant but carefully pretended not to notice anything. "Death, I told you a million times that with your appearance you could have ANYONE you want in this city. Why do you keep sticking to that dumbass who doesn't even appreciate you?!"

"Love, you... you don't make it any better. Please stop that," he heavily sighed, hiding his face in his hands. Love pouted and turned away. After a short pause she heard:

"I really need your help right now. You're known for the best love advice in this part of the city. Can I have one?"

Love puffed with pride looking much more pleased now. She took a moment to revel in it before she agreed, with a noticeable regret in her voice.

"Okay, but you will buy me a coffee. And a piece of cake."

"You can order whatever you want, I'll pay for everything."

One coffee, a hot chocolate, and three pieces of cake later Love was satisfied enough to listen to Death's case.

"So, nothing you've said made him believe you loved him?.. What a moron, honestly.. Okay, okay, sorry. Well, if spoken words don't work, sometimes written words do. Valentine's Day is coming, you can write him a love letter."

"You really think one love letter can help where all my attempts failed..?"

"Two love letters. A dozen love letters. Few dozen love letters. Write as many as it takes to make him listen to you."

"Few dozen love letters?? That's insane!" Death laughed for the first time in a month.

"If your strange life choice makes you do it, do it."

"Hahaha. Well it's worth another piece of cake. I think I'll join you this time."
