After Jennie left with Seulgi, Sunmi called me into her office.

"I want to throw a big celebration party when we get back. Invite the usual girls. Maybe we should have another party first. What's on the agenda this week?" Sunmi was sitting in one of the armchairs in her living room with her notebook and a pen in her hands.

"There's Mary's baby birthday, but I've already canceled." I say when checking the schedule.

"Now I'm going."

"You go?" I look at her and I'm totally confused.

"I finally have something they'll want to talk about." Sunmi smiles and just nods. "Sit down, Jisoo." She points to the chair next to her.

"You and... Right. Ok, sorry." I say nervously, sitting down next to her. The woman never wanted to talk to me, let alone invite me to sit with her.

"I met someone who wants me to be strong and she likes me to be successful. She's a rare piece." Sunmi says smiling "I don't know, it seems like fate." she is thoughtful while I think that me and Jennie call each other fate "I know I was a bitch with you." My eyes widened when I heard her.

"No, you aren't."

"Don't be one of those people who don't say "bitch"."

"I don't." She stares at me, waiting for me to say something, but I remain silent.

"I know I was a bitch. It's partly your youth, your tight skin irritates me, but mostly... it's because I want you to succeed." She gives me a half smile.

"What do you mean?"

"I see a lot of potential in you, but you need to have a thick skin. So if I'm the most terrible person in an already difficult business, I know you'll be prepared." Sunmi gives me an encouraging smile and I can only smile widely after hearing all this.

We were at the District Club and it was already lunch time. I was making Seulgi's dish with her by my side.

"MyChef Serie A will be a disaster, it was smart not to invest in them. Don't forget to let Irene know." She says while using her phone.
