I Don't Wanna Look at Anything Else Now That I Saw You

I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you
I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you
I've been sleeping so long in a 20-year dark night
And now I see daylight, I only see daylight~•~•~•~•~
"You are beautiful."
No matter how many times these words were whispered in the dark like a prayer, Vi was always too stupefied to respond. A laugh was her instinct reaction, but it died in her throat before it was vocalized. All she could do, all that she was allowed to do was just lay there.
A hand, gentle as the wind that caresses the blooming flowers in the spring, traced down the tapestry of tattoos that painted her back. Lips as warm as a sunny day chased after one of her endless scars trying to scare it away, as if trying to reprimand it from ruining a piece of art. Vi couldn't move. Vi was enchanted.
"You are so beautiful."
Vi inwardly groaned against the pillow. No, she wasn't beautiful, not in the sense that Caitlyn was. Caitlyn was graceful and elegant and her presence was eye-catching. Vi, on the other hand, was roughen up in all the wrong places, beaten and scared beyond repair, a broken vessel carrying her self-designed tattoos whose sole purpose to cover yet another layer of scars-
You are beautiful
No, she's not, she's not, she's not, she's-
Caitlyn dove even lower, sending waves of chills down VI's spine, who remained paralized. She was the Sun that Vi worshiped faithfully without complaint, but what was she supposed to do when the Goddess descended from the Sky and worshiped her instead, an abomination that ought to be castrated from the world? What a blasphemous consideration indeed.
"You are beautiful, Violet," Caitlyn murmured against her skin. "And I'll keep telling you until you can see that in the mirror."
Vi wanted to protest, to scream, to curse her for making such false assertions, but her throat remained painfully dry like the endless desert of Shurima. She was robbed of any rational thought and any potentially witty argument was doomed to fail.
You are beautiful
Caitlyn could have anyone she ever wanted. Young, charming, beautiful, a literal angel sent on Earth, only to choose a deformed demon like Vi. It was really beyond her. Vi couldn't understand. Once she dared to voice her concerns, only to be met with a hymn:
You are beautiful. I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you.
Perhaps if she kept hearing those words whispered with such sincerity, maybe she would believe it. Being deceived never felt more tempting before.
As such, Vi succumbed to the devil's temptation and allowed herself to be deceived for a really long time.
