Know You

I wake up and I'm in a grand bedroom, laying on a huge canopy bed with silk sheets.

I have no idea where I am, I sit up and look around.

I get up and walk around I'm in the same clothes I had on, Thankfully!

I walk over to the window and lookout. Once again it's beautiful. I walk over to the door and go out.

It's a grand hallway I start walking down the corridor and then I realize I don't have any shoes on but I do have socks.

So Weird...that I'm thinking about this stupid stuff when I should be thinking about why am I here.

"Why am I here?" I say thinking aloud then as if on cue Taejo Daewang just pops up out of nowhere.

"You are at my kingdom," He says and then whispers in my ear " And you are here to stay, with me. Far away from Preston."

It sends chills down my spine and not the good kind.

"Hah," I laugh in his face without even thinking about it and I quickly cover my mouth with my hand.

He puts his hand over mine and backs me up against the wall, "You might want to control your tongue before you lose it Tae." He says and I start shaking out of fear I'm more scared than before.

I knee him in the groin and run.

I look for a door and suddenly it gets dark in the long hallway and I can't see anything.

Suddenly I'm being pulled away and I start to scream. Then there is a hand over my mouth muffling my screams.

"Shh, it's ok I'm here, everything is gonna be alright," is being whispered in my ear.

It's Preston, Thank God. I turn around and wrap my arms around his waist.

Preston's POV-

She slides her arm around my waist and she's shaking, I can tell she's scared, and then she starts crying.

I hug her tighter.

I'm pissed that Taejo couldn't do his work himself and had to get Uffe to do it for him. Coward. I look at Tae again.

I take her hand and intertwine our fingers. She lifts up her head. "I'm yours," she says to me and I lean down and kiss her on her lips.

I hear footsteps and I put her behind me. She doesn't protest and just goes behind me.

Then I suddenly think and grab both of her hands.

"Do you trust me?" I ask her quickly, she nods her head and I close my eyes.

We are back at her house.

"What are we doing here?" She asks obviously confused.

I laugh and kiss her forehead.

"Now go get some rest, You'll need it," I tell her and she doesn't argue.

She goes and lays down while she sleeps I put a protection spell over her one that just keeps her away from Taejo and any of his men.

Next, is to get revenge on Taejo for what he has done and all the trouble that he has caused Tae.

I can't believe being a vampire can have all these perks and that I forget about most of them so easily.

I start to think of all the syndical things I can do to him.

I'm gone with just one thought.
