Y/n's POV:

The drill is almost complete, there is only one small issue which the Peridot now voices.

"Coordinates! We still need the Cluster's exact coordinates in order to drill!"

"There is a Diamond base that may hold that information but getting there is going to be difficult.", the Pearl informs the group.

While they converse I receive a signal from Reaper, I had sent him out to a possible ultra link base, from my first scans of the planet through my connection of the internet I was able to globally scan the planet finding places where ultra link technology may be located. Looking at the image he had sent to me it appeared to be an offline mobile carrier. The carrier was half submerged into red and orange rock, only showing its thrusters from the mountain, I've told Reaper to begin extraction.

As ultra links in their base forms were quite weak, mobile carriers and star fighters were the best when encountering a new planet.

I turn back to the group of gems only to see a pink and white portal begin to vanish, they had left me behind.

It cannot be helped, so I track their location through the fleshling Steven's new phone to see that he is on the moon. Deciding to do something active while the group is away I start to deconstruct the booster rocket that I had collected previously, it held no fuel so I broke it down into spare sheets of metal leaving the thruster as it is just in case the group plan on leaving the planet. It will take an alpha link quite some time to reach Earth, therefore in the mean time it is best to collect as much of my race's technology that we find on Earth.

Steven's POV:

Once we return from our trip to the moon I'm greeted by Y/n who seemed to be waiting for us. It was clear he noticed the sour mood as he watched Garnet storm off to the warp pad with Pearl and Amethyst following behind her.

"Greetings Steven, how was your first trip off world?", he asked me in his echoed voice.

"Oh! It was good but we found out what the Diamonds were planning to do with Earth so there was a bit of trouble between Peridot and Garnet. What about you?", I said as he hummed before replying.

"Well, the good news is that Reaper was able to find an old Ultralink Mobile Carrier but the bad news is that it seemed to have crashed into a mountain side so it will take some time for it to arrive here.", he replied as he scratched his chin. I was about to say something else until I noticed Peridot sneak into the barn.

"Sorry Y/n but I need to go ask Peridot something I'll talk to you later.", I spoke as I walked into the barn catching sight of Peridot messing with the Prism that was on the moon base. She quickly caught sight of me.

"Oh! Steven.", she reacts as she tried to hide the object behind her.

"Peridot, I need to talk to you."

"Uhh, yeah. Sure!", she nods and follows me into the old truck in the barn.

Still trying to hide the prism from me she spoke trying to distract me, "Why are we in this broken down vehicle?"

"I want to know more about the Diamonds"

"Oh! I don't know what the others have told you especially that Ultralink but there's a reason why they're in charge.", she beamed.

"Why's that?", I questioned.

"They're objectively better than us. Every gem has their strengths and weaknesses, but not them. They're absolutely totally completely flawless beings!", she began before I remembered what Pearl told me about Ultralinks.
