A/n: holy shizzle!! Over 4,500 reads on this story you guys are amazing. Honestly didn't expect people to read this but Wow.

Y/n's POV:

As the line ended and the screen returned to its original shape I turned to the gems and hybrid, some with smiles and some mainly the Garnet and Pearl with scowls.

"W-why did you do that?!", the Pearl exclaimed as she marched over to me only to look up as I looked over her.

"Strategical advantage, by presenting myself I have caused a panic within the Diamond Authority.", I begin to explain with the communication device held in front of me, "Accessing their communications I was able to piggyback their system sending a beacon to all Ultralinks in the universe soon the planet Earth will become a fortress. Homeworld will become vulnerable after sending their forces here.", I explained to the Pearl, she didn't like my explanation until the Peridot cut in.

"You mean by drawing their attention to Earth it would leave Homeworld unprotected, you would be able to take over with little resistance. Especially if yellow and blue diamond come to Earth. White diamond would be the only worry.", the Peridot theorised as her eyes began to widen in shock.

"Yes, that is the rough concept but it may be altered.", I confirmed.

"You should have told us what you were planning.", Garnet voiced.

"I could have but would you have approved this?", I questioned. The gem fusion hesitated, "What you lack on Earth is strength in numbers, even with Reaper and I here you lack any real advantage over Homeworld.", I concluded the fusion had nothing else to say to further her opinion and turned away heading to the warp pad.

"So does that mean I'll get to see more Ultralinks?", the hybrid Steven asked looking up at me.

"Yes. The sooner the better.", I replied as I looked off in the distance towards the beach.

As Steven left with the other gems for the day, I decided to search for a suitable base of operations that was both easy access while also being fortified if the situation called for it. My first thought was the sea but with the issue of the fusion known as Malachite there would be greater risk, as Beach city is mostly flat with only small hills nearby there isn't much I can do without causing mass panic to the surrounding populace.

So, once the gem fusion Malachite has been defeated and imprisoned then I can start to hide my forces underneath the depths of the ocean. To find the fusion is more difficult than I expected, I previously planned to search for the gem signature but because I have not previously met the gems Jasper and Lapis I cannot find their unique signal. There is too much interference as a result of the warp pads, artefacts and old gem tech to find them which means I can only rely on time and the Garnet's future sight to aid me.

But the fusion may not trust my actions after my conversation with the Yellow Diamond, we will have to wait and see.

As I look out to the horizon I wonder about all the planets I had destroyed before waking up on Earth, it's almost like I have been reborn. Although, I haven't accessed all my memories I know that in time they shall return.

My only hope is that my current self still remains once they do.

*Beep*

"My lord, where should I move the transport?", Reaper asked over the com link.

"Hmm, for now hide it from the humans. They will most likely cause a panic if the transport is spotted and I'd rather not deal with the gems again today.", I replied as the link then broke and I began to make preparations for a few other projects.

Not wanting to be here any longer I teleport away.

3rd POV:

In a flash of f/c light Y/n arrives at his new location, more specifically the old kindergarten that he escorted the Peridot and Steven to.

With the sun-like orb of f/c energy that makes up his chest lighting the way Y/n begins to wander around the dead, lifeless land stopping every now and then to observe the large figure-like shapes in the rocks. As Y/n is looking at it one of the many gaps in the cliff side there is a low rumbling sound before a few gem mutants begin to emerge from the ground and within the cliff.

Stepping back and looking above him he sees the mutants scaling down the natural wall, "Interesting, do they come here because this is where they emerged or where they were experimented on?", he pondered as his echoed voice reverberated through the land.

One of the mutants, a large one, that was made up of six arms and hands along with one giant foot that acted like it's head leapt from the cliff to in front of the perfected Ultralink. It's multicoloured gem shards cruelly fused together caught the light that came from its natural enemy.

"For the rocks to do this to their own kind, even I did not do something as cruel to mine.", Y/n said with pity as the metal around his right arm began to twist and bend until it formed a long pointed lance that sparked with f/c energy.

Not waiting for the amalgamated creature to attack first Y/n sped forwards and thrusted his lance directly into the chest of the gem experiment as it poofed into a cloud of dust while its gem clattered to the floor. Seeing their leader be defeated so easily caused a wave of panic to settle into the gems that were surrounding their enemy as they collectively skulked away into the fog and darkness that covered the dead environment.

Reforming the lance back to his hand Y/n picked up the crudely stuck together gem fusion as the light that emanated from him bounce onto the multicoloured surface of the gems showing some sort of beauty in something that was once monstrous.

"Hmm, truly a shame.", the Ultralink spoke as some pieces of metal that floated behind him began to wrap and shape itself into a metal sphere before returning to its former place as f/c lighting arced over it.

"I'll collect some more before checking on the drill and Reaper.", he told himself as he began to search for more of the larger gem experiments that roamed the wasteland.

A/n: bit shorter I know but this was more of a filler between episodes to show that Y/n doesn't entirely trust the gems and their conflicting interests. Plus I'd like my character to be the replacement of a lot of the plot armour that can be found as he is quite an op character. So yes future episodes will begin to change to suit what has happened here.
