Chapter 3 From July 14th 1881 to 2022

the very last thing that i remember being shot down by Pat and dying in my sweet Dahlia's arms. and hearing her cry for me and shooting herself. i wake up strapped to a cold hard table in a white room with doctors all around me. i could hear Dahlia in the next room i try to free myself but i could not free myself. i ask where am i? a voice says " doctor he is awake". the head doctor comes over to me and says you are in a research facility Mr. Bonney just take it easy. i ask them how did i get there they tell me that cryto freeze unit. you and Miss. Stewart didn't die. after that they start running painful tests on me and Dahlia doing God knows what to us. they didn't feed us and used electric wires on us and dunked us in freezing water that had caused us to get pneumonia. they stuck needles in us. there is more horrible things that they did to us. they doing the tests on us. and every time that   the tests came back negative they ran the tests again and again. then Dahlia and i were rescued by Doc and his wife doctor Belinda Simpson Scurlock. i had went to the graveyard at Fort Sumner i was tired and weak so i laid down on my grave and fell asleep. Dahlia had found me there and we were reunited. i had got a job singing with Dahlia and then i got a job working at the museum that is named after me. i applied to go the university of New Mexico i haven't heard if i had been accepted or not. Dahlia and i are married now and we are starting a family. i ask doctor Simpson about what had done to me and Dahlia at the research facility    from hell. she tells me but when i ask Doc he just gives me a sad look and walks away. i feel like am bothering people too much. i know that i am bothering doctor Simpson too much. i know that Dahlia and i are happy watching our children grow up. but i wonder if we are safe.
