Chapter 1 On the Run and being hunted

My story begins after the gunfight at the home of Alex McSween he was John Tunstall's friend and lawyer. Alex was killed in the gunfight his wife Susan had moved away. i am now on the run along with Doc Scurlock and Chavez but i knew that it was getting unsafe for them and the other regulators. i asked Doc and Chavez and the others to go and leave me and go to safety. i would be alright the other regulators did as i asked all of them but Tom O'Folliard. Tom stayed with me Tom and i were caught at Stinking Springs. Tom was badly wounded i took him to a young lady doctor named Belinda Simpson. to my surprise Doc was there with her because he was engaged to be married to her. i could not stay long because i would be putting them in danger. Doc said " Billy don't worry Tom will be alright i will write to you to let you know how Tom was doing.' i smiled and turned to go after i had left them i was getting tired and hungry and needed to rest. i went into Fort Sumner to rest and to get some food. i had went to get something to eat at Pete Maxwell's house but little did i know that Pat Garrett was there waiting for me. i knew what he had to do and why he was there. we both knew that it wasn't going to be easy for him to kill me. because Pat and i were best friends so it wasn't going to be easy for Pat to do what he had came there to do. Pat shoots me in the chest i ran out of Fort Sumner i was bleeding badly. i had made it into the desert where lose my horse i had ran out of food and water and i was very weak because of loss of blood. i collapsed face down in the desert sand. that is where things starts to get vey weird. i was found about half dead by Dracula he told me that he could save my life and i would never die and i would stay young forever. i thought that he was crazy then his fangs came out. he sank his deep and painfully into my neck i didn't scream even though i wanted to. after i became a vampire just like he was we went back into Fort Sumner. at first i didn't why and what he wanted me to do. then it became very clear what he wanted me to do he wanted to do his evil deeds for him. that night i had broke away from Dracula and ran as for as i could. i know that daylight kills vampires but i wasn't a full vampire yet. i collapsed in desert outside of the camp of a very beautiful bunty hunter named Dahlia. she finds me and says i was sent to bring you in dead or alive. but you are so sweet and handsome and you look like you have been through i am not going to kill you but i am getting you to a doctor. she takes me to the same doctor that i had took Tom to. Doc sees me asks what has happened i did my best to tell him. Dahlia asks if there was away to save my life Belinda tells her that i have a blood transfusion and true loves first kiss will end the vampire transformation from finishing. Doc gave a transfusion of his blood since we had the same blood type and Dahlia kissed me and undone Dracula's evil work. i started to recover and heal Dahlia and i started dating and soon after we were married. i know that i am known as the boy bandit king. those days are behind me now. i have a brand new life and a bright future ahead of me now. Pat came to see me he told me that my grave in the grave yard at Fort Sumner is empty a reminder of the life that i had in the past. and rest as they say is history.
