I can't believe that my title wants to be taken by a teenager. A no good, ruthless teenager. Gotta admit, his crimes are a work of art, and when he comes for my title; I'd gladly hand it over to him. He's earned it in my eyes.

"Mr M! A villain named Percy 12 is coming to take your title!" My assistant runs in and shouts as he slams his fists into my desk, leaving a dent.

"Trust me boy, I want him to take this title. In my opinion he deserves it, an IQ higher than mine, it would be an honor to work under his name. I've had this title for 20 years, I think its time we had a new top villain in Preena. That's why I invited him and his father Reese over, so I can hand over my title and lend them a place to stay whilst they run away from a drastic family situation." Percy 12's father is a great friend of mine, and even visiting him as a child, I could see greatness and a passion for villainy in his eyes.

As I think more of him, he reminds me of a younger self, I'm not saying I'm old, but I'm 38. Too old for me to get back into action. I've been quiet for 2 years now, I've given others a chance to shine, to prove how well they act in these situations.

Based on the knowledge Reese has given me, he's been attending at Unsen Academy for the Truly Gifted; though he's self taught and doesn't need schooling further, I think he's attending because of his smarts, figuring his way around the school system and gathering his information on his classmates and other students. To know their strengths and weaknesses, what brings them down and builds them up. Social records and records of violence, IQ stats. That's what I would do. That's what Percy 12 would do; And he does it under the radar.

I walk up to my balcony and slide open the glass doors. I see Preena City in its ealry morning light, and I ponder about other evils in this city, I've seen many; any age, any race and any intention. I've seen the heroes and detectives, but there is one in particular that strikes my attention.

Emmarly Itsen.

From what I've observed, shes the one who's mostly chasing after Percy 12. If I didn't know any better I would say that young woman has a crush on Percy 12. No other heroes or detectives pray upon him like a huntress as she does. This balcony really let's me see the bigger picture.

While I observe their chases, I see that Emmarly has an Unsen Academy backpack. which means Percy 12 is going to school with the enemy, the hero. Smart of him really, he probably knows more about his enemy than anyone else in that school aside from the professors and administrators.

Percy 12 never ceases to amaze my hamster ball of a brain. He has an IQ of 178. Only two behind mine, impressive for a self-taught boy his age. I feel a drop of rain as I continue my search deeper into my brain.

I turn away and close the glass doors, heading down to my study after I pick up a clipboard and pencil.

"Mr. M? What if this foul ridden teenager plans to kill you? What if he betrays you? The has to be a way to get another person to take this title because I don't trust it in this boys hands."

"I trust him with my title, if theres anyone one to kill me in a duel of brains and brawn it will be Percy 12 I trust no one else with this title, and especially not you. You're lucky I haven't had you fired with all the times you've impacted the decisions I've made, all of the things you said to make us a fail. You're lucky I'm even paying you to be here. Now get out of my sight." I wave my hand in a motion to leave me be with my thoughts.

I tuck my hair back behind my ear and readjust my glasses and start writing up on Percy 12 and why I think he should take my title of Greatest Villain in all Briasko.

Why Percy 12 deserves my title
•his IQ is only 2 points behind mine
• he's skillful in his craft
• he's studied the way I do things and puts a special spin on them
•its his dream to take my title
•he knows how to do things in secrecy
•it would make Reese incredibly proud

I hear a knock on the front door and I drop my pencil. That must be Reese and Percy 12! I slide down the railing of the stairs like I'm my smaller, trickier self again. My assistants and body guards jump back in surprise as I make my way down the rails.

"Coming through! Move it or lose it!" I shout as I make my descent. I loosely spring from the rail as my assistants help put on my coat as I open the door for what must be Reese and Percy 12. I open the door for them.

"Reese! Great to see you again! Wait... where's Percy 12?"

"I don't know, he should've been here by now. Wait, youtube, TikTok; check those and search up Percy 12!" Reese says as he pulls out his phone, I do the same and search it. The first video that comes up from my search is a video from Emmarly Itsen.

"So, my arch nemesis, Felon... he stole my backpack and made it a parachute and he threw it off the Preena Square Building! And me being me I jump to get it and the last thing I see is him waving goodbye to me and I'm pretty sure he's in the building stealing everything! So if any guards are watching this, go in there and kick his ass!"

"That's my Percy 12, doing dangerous stuff is his style, and the fact no one really knows who he is, its impressive." Reese said as he put his hand in his pockets.
"But back to the matter at hand. We have all information we need, he was last seen at the Preena Square Building, and that's only a few miles from here. Knowing him he'll be here in a matter of minutes.

I hear someone else sliding down the railing.

"That room you got up there? With the glass doors? So damn cool. Oh hey dad! Good to see you again!" Percy 12 said as he walked from behind me, picking a gummy from his teeth with a toothpick.

"Percy 12, how did you even get in here?" Reese asked as Percy 12 fell back into a handstand.

"Marcius, with your IQ I thought you wouldn't leave your glass doors unlocked, especially when a certain someone has insane acrobatics skills and a rope. Anyways, I'm here for your title. But if it's a fight you want I'll gladly-"

"No fighting necessary, I'm giving you my title. In return, all I ask is to be able to work under you, and I'll pay for the lair, so you, your father, and any family members you want to live here. You'll have total creative freedom if you wish to redecorate the lair."

"Wait wait wait. You're just handing me your title? So I'm the Greatest Villain? I did it?"

We all walked up the stairs to the head of my lair, but something felt off. Like a sickly feeling in my stomach.

We're being attacked.
