Chapter 11
ZAYN'S POV
I unlock the door to my place, only to be greeted by four other boys, all of whom I didn't feel like talking to at the moment.
I just needed some time to myself right now. I'd just dropped Alison off at her place after our date, which had pretty much been a bust.
I should never had tried to kiss her. I mean, I don't know what I was thinking. We'd only even known each other for so long, and it was only our first date.
I basically messed up my chances with Alison.
It was a shame, I'd really grown to like her while we were at the restaurant. She was so easy to get on with, and I really did have an awesome time.
At the carnival however, things got awkward after I tried to kiss her. It just wasn't the same as before. We were both so nervous, and tense. And it seemed like she was giving me the cold shoulder.
I ignored the boys 'hey,'s and 'how was it's and just went in my room. I unbuttoned my shirt, and lay down on my bed, just thinking.
I heard my door open. My head was in my arms, so I couldn't see who came in my room.
"Mate, is everything alright?" I leard Liam ask.
"No," I told him, "I pretty much blew it with Alison,"
"What exactly happened?" Liam said. I sat up, and explained everything to him. From the restaurant, to the carnival and all the drama in between.
Liam just listened attentively, nodding every once in a while. This is why I liked Liam so much, he just listened. Never pressured you, interupted you. Just listened.
"Oh," he said, once I'd finished my story.
"Yea,"
"Well, I wouldn't take it the wrong way. I'm sure Alison was just overwhelmed. I mean, she'd just been asked out by Zayn Malik..." Liam trailed off.
"I know, but the way she was acting after, I'm not sure we'll be going out again anytime soon..." I said.
"Oh come, on don't you think you're overreacting?" Liam said. I looked at him, urging him to continue, "I'm sure she'll agree to go out with you again. Maybe you two should have a do-over date?" he suggested.
It wasn't a bad idea...
"Well, I can't just ask her out right after our first date fail..." I said.
"Then give her a little bit of time," he said. I nodded.
"Hey, why don't we go on a double date!" he suggested, "That way, you can still go out with Alison, but I'll be there in case anything get's awkward,"
"Liam, that's a great idea!" I said, "But who are you going to go with?" I asked him.
"Ikindahaveathingforjessica," Liam said really quickly. I didn't actually catch what he said.
"What?"
"I like Jess. But I haven't had the chance to ask her out or anything, because of Dani. I can't do that to her," Liam told me.
"Dude, Danielle is over you, I'm sure she won't mind of you ask Jess out. I mean, you guys are like good friends now right?" I explained.
"Yea..." he said.
"Then ask Jess out!" I told him.Liam sighed, silent for a moment.
"Okay. Dani's cool, I'm sure she won't mind!" he said as he got up, to leave my room.
