Chapter 4

Chapter 4

ALISON'S POV

     The school day finally ended and it was time to head out. I closed my locker and threw one strap of my Jansport backpack over my shoulder. Then, waiting patiently for Stacey to finish packing up her things, I finally asked the question that was on my mind since Alexis won the contest.

     "Hey Alexis," I said as Akexis looked up from her phone and turned to me,"Why did you enter the radio contest? I mean, from what I know, your not the biggest fan of One Direction..."

    Alexis smiled as she said; "For you guys! I knew how much you guys wanted to win that thing and, although it was a long shot, I decided to go for it. I honestly did not expect to win though!"

    "Tell me about it!" I said, giving Alexis a warm smile and a quick side hug.

     "But I wouldn't mind meeting them though! Like, they are pretty hot..." she said, with an evil smirk on her face.

     The things that go on in her head...

     "Alright, let's go!" said Stacey, zipping up her backpack.

     We all decided to go to Starbucks, in celebration of the winning of the contest!

    We walked out of the building, and were on our way to Starbucks. We had pointless conversations and some good laughs as we entered the plaza. I stared at the menu board, thinking of what to order, then finally just decided on a caramel mocha.

      The warmth from the mocha felt good on my hands, and helped warm me up. It was nice in the cool, fall air. 

     "Wait, Alexis, you are taking us to meet One Direction right?" said Rachel, with a confused expression on her face.

      And then there was Alexis, with an annoyed look on her face.

     "Well obviously. Why else do you think I called to enter in the first place?" said Alexis, giving Rachel a look that said I worry for you.

     Rachel just giggled, Alexis joining her. I took another sip of my heavenly mocha as I sat back in my chair, taking everything in. I was going to meet One Direction! Me, and my four best friends that I've known since kindergarten, we were going to meet One Direction! The same band that made me smile with all their crazy video diaries, that I've idolised since the X Factor. I know, it sounds pretty cliche, but I'm kind of a huge fan! As much as I've always wanted to meet them, deep inside, I knew the chances were slim. But it was finally happening...
