GWEN stood in alarm as she felt the swarming heat of electricity around her.
"What's up, Peter?" Max flew closer to them, the light tailing behind him as if he was the God of Thunder. "How do you like the new news?"
Gwen turned to Peter who was sighing, seeing his old friend after years.
"Look, you give it to me, I'm gonna destroy it.. but I'll let you live." Max gave them a sinister grin.
"Don't make me a murderer, Peter." Max stated. This sentence alone made them send a look to each other, it was their starting point.
Young Peter wore his mask, grabbing the box with him before jumping off the statue.
"Okay, guys. Here it comes!" Young Peter announced as he swung around.
Gwen took a deep breath, before jumping off the statue, she didn't know if it was a good idea to split up but she went on her own way nonetheless. Her mission is to protect the box while the other three tries to cure them.
She was about to swing but she dodged the lightning that was sent her way.
"Hey, Max! I missed you, man!" Peter yelled as he swung in front of his old pal. Gwen shook her head before continuing to go swing down.
"All right, MJ.. heads up!" Young Peter swung past his two best friends, throwing the box inside the portal where MJ immediately caught it.
"Got it, now close it." MJ nudged Ned, who kept on doing circle motions with his hand; nothing happened.
Luckily, Gwen saw this and she landed in front of the two.
"Why can't you close the portal?!" Gwen yelled, jumping when a lightning almost struck her. "Try closing it again!"
"I-I don't know!" Ned starts freaking out the same time as MJ began to panic.
"Have you closed it before?" MJ turned to the shorter boy beside her, almost jumping in anxiety.
"No! I mean, I have opened some but some just closed on their own!" Ned kept on doing the circular motions with his hands but nothing happened.
"Why don't you do it clockwise- or counterclockwise?!" MJ yelled in frustration, Ned did it but still, nothing happened.
"Oh, God." Gwen facepalmed hesistating whether she would stay or not.. but seeing as the three were struggling above her, she sighed before pushing the two back inside the laboratory. She walked outside the portal before webbing the way in the portal.
"That'll hold them up for a while, try to close the portal, Ned! If nothing still happens, scream my name!" Gwen ordered the two, making them nod. Gwen made sure the webs were secure, before she swung upwards, joining the three.
