He says it's from the cat?
But we don't have a cat.

The people at school are being mean to me.
They say it's not normal to have two daddies.
They call me names.
But it's okay because I still love you.

Why is dad sleeping on a hospital bed with covers on his face?
Is he okay?
I noticed the scratches on his arm.
Was because of the cat?

I overheard the doctors say something about a "Drug Overdose"?
What does that mean?
Will dad ever wake up?
I miss him...

As I looked into my child's brown eyes.
I couldn't find strength to tell her.
So all I said was,
