Hello! to my beautiful readers. No matter where you are right now, I hope you are having a nice day.♡
Was it a silence before strom. Or my world was at peace? But neither way it felt right or wrong. My senses living my soul and all I felt was with a body.
It was just the matter of my words, I heard a few voices around me. Everyone moving out of the room, leaving only elders behind. I watched my mother coming towards me supporting my cold body. Her eyes glistening with happiness, as if she was proud of me.
In those moments I saw Qazi coming in the room, glancing towards me the old man gave me a warm look before sitting down on sofa beside Dada. In those seconds nothing making sense to me.
I saw the man of the house whispering something and Qazi writing something on the marriage papers. Then I heard him reciting some verses of Holy Quran before starting the Nikkah.
A sharp pain radiated through my chest as I felt betrayed. I don't deserve this. How can he leave me at this hour.
People needs gossip and I know from this moment they got more trash to throw on me. I heard Qazi asking Murat if he is ready to accept me as his wife according to Islamic rules and terms. Not daring to look up in those moments I heard the man saying Yes all the three time he was asked.
The next minute I heard my name being called and I felt my body tensed. The warm pat of my mother telling me it's going to be okay. I wanted to shout, to tell her that it's not going to be.
Glancing up through my heavy veil I saw my aunt's watching me, the strong glare of Auntie Fariha telling me not to agree. I know the moment I will say yes I will be dragged into a hell. A hell that I will dig myself.
