If I knew I would leave that race with Jake Martin wrapped around my finger I wouldn't have been so reluctant to go.
The first thing i learned from my crew chief back home was to never root for your opponents car. Especially when it's Jake Martin.
He's known for flirting with women and making top ten each race he has. It's impressive to rookies but disappointing to others who rank higher than him.
He's also known for his stupidity and the fling he had with his boss, Catherine I think?
All I know is that it lasted about a week before they decided they were "better of as co-workers".
If you ask me, she probably couldn't handle how dumb he is.
I'm still not sure why I decided to go to that race, but a part of me is glad I did.
I still remember the conversation that started it all, my relationship with Jake and my future at Bobby Spencer racing.
It took me a while to get to where I am today, but I'm glad I had everyone here by my side.
