"Ok, you two go with Sarah, I'll go with (Y/N)." Ava said quickly. Sarah and Norah glanced at each other.
"You sure you two going together is a good idea?" Charlie asked quickly. Ava waved them off and you followed after her.
"Will you please do your best to have some restraint." Ava asked but it sounded more like she was demanding it. As if you weren't being given an option. Then again you didn't get many options on the Waverider, short of following orders. Even if you knew the orders were counter intuitive. It had been the source of several arguments over the past few days and missions.
"Sure, we're on the same team aren't we." You answered curtly. She sighed and rubbed her forehead.
"I just mean, you hurry and you rush about and you get injured. You need to be more careful." She called and you sighed, ignoring what she said.
"You and I on the same team. It must be Christmas." You muttered sarcastically.
"I don't want you to get hurt, will you promise to pace yourself?" She said, gentler this time. You sighed and greed, following her lead, hoping that they'd let you have more free range later on.
