Y/N's P.O.V

Today we were doing a duel in Glynda's class and the people that are dueling are Pyrrha and Team CRDL. And... it didn't go well for the boys. They got beat up. Even thought she was alone. They didn't even stand a chance. Then their aura was low. They were defeated.

Glynda: And that's the match.

Cardin: Ugh........! Lucky shot......

Glynda: Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.

Pyrrha: Thank you, Professor.

Glynda: Alright. Now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers. Miss Belladonna? You've been rather quiet for the past few classes. Why don't you-

???: I'll do it.

Everyone stared at the guy. He looked a little odd. Maybe a little suspicious.

Glynda: Mercury is it? Very well. Let's find you an op-

Mercury: Actually, I wanna fight... her.

Everyone stared at the person he pointed. It was Pyrrha.

Ghost: Hehe. He wish he can beat her.

Roach: His funeral.

Y/N: Really odd...

Desti: Do you... think that he wants to know what she can do, like her semblance?

Y/N: Maybe. Best to keep an eye out for him and his team.

Pyrrha agreed to it. Then Glynda prepared the match. They got into their battle stance. Then charged at each other. Pyrrha blocked the kick attacks that he made. She knocked him down from his other leg. He managed to back flipped a few times making him step back. Pyrrha charged and Mercury tried land some kicks to her and she knocked him back with her shield.

Mercury: Hmm.... Interesting.

Y/N: Yeah, he's trying to find out more about her.

Nightmare: When him and his team meet at the dorm, I'll watch them. And probably learn more about them.

(Y/N): Sounds good to me.

Mercury did a couple of more kicks and they were blocked. He charged again and Pyrrha put her weapon upside down. He did multiple kicks again and it hits her shield. He made her let go of her weapon. He tried kicking her from the side and she blocked it with her arm. She grabbed her weapon and then fought back. He kicked her weapon away from her, making it stab into the ground. He smirked and charged her. As his leg meets her she uses her semblance and pushes it away. Making him almost fall to the ground. He kneeled.

Mercury: Huh. So that's her semblance. Good to know. Gotta tell the others about it.

Nightmare: ...... Red flag?

Y/N: Red flag.

Mercury gets up and Pyrrha charges at him. He lunged himself away from her by jumping off her shield, making him a bit far from her. She continues charging at him, but Mercury did something unexpected.

Mercury: I forfeit.

Pyrrha stops as she ran pass him. Then everyone looks at him.

Ghost: What?

Roach: Pardon...?

Pyrrha: You... don't even want to try?

Mercury: What's the point? You're a talent fighter. We're obviously leagues apart.
