The Deal

We talked for a good while and I came to learn that he came from a family of self made billionaires and just like me- well almost like me, he was an only child. He was only 2 years older than me, his Dad will soon pass his business to him due to him being the only son. " It's getting really late" I pointed out, " You want me to take you home?" he asked with a deep and soft voice. " No, you could just take me back to the club and I'll just check if Jada is still there" I replied with a very flirtatious voice, he looked at me smirking then drove me back to the club. We pulled up in a secluded parking lot and he turned to look at me, "Have you ever been with a guy?" he asked slowly placing his hand on my thigh where my dress did not cover. I looked down at his hand and I could feel my heartbeat thumping in my ears, he made his hand up my thigh but before he could enter my dress he stopped. " You're a virgin aren't you?" he raised an eyebrow at me. " I have to go, bye" I got out of the car leaving his question unanswered, it's true... as tough as I portray myself to be, I've never been with anyone.

I walked in the club and saw Jada passed out on one of the one of the bar tables, I pulled out my phone and called her Limo driver to come get us. " Jada, wake up you're dad wants to see you" I whispered in her ear as I began lifting her on my shoulder. I know she wont refuse to leave if she hears about her dad, " Jada let's go he's waiting" I pulled her to wake up. " O-Ok let's go Laura" she spoke as she stumbled on her feet. " Do you need help?" Austin asked as we met at the door, " We're fine" I snapped at him, I was so joyful as I saw the limo driver waiting for us with the door open. I managed to get her in the Limo without hurting her, " Please take her home first" I requested the limo driver , " Sure ma'am" he approved. We drove of and I pulled out my phone to check the time, it was 02:33. 

I looked at Jada as she passed out on the seat next to me, then my mind slowly wondered to Austin. I then realized I can't get in contact with him anymore because we did not exchange numbers, " Fuck Laura get your head out of the clouds, what is wrong with you" I reprimanded myself. We got to Jada's mansion and her personal guard managed to get her into the mansion as usual whenever she was drunk, then left. Jada never takes her phone with her when partying because she knows she drinks like a fish and doesn't want to lose it. " How come you are not passed out?" the driver asked me, " I'm not a sucker for booze, one drink is enough for me" I smiled at him. His eyes jumped from the rear view mirror reflecting towards me and then back on the road, "We are here, have a goodnight ma'am" he said as he opened the doors for me. I walked up the stairs to the doors of the mansion.

I greeted the guards at the doors and the nodded in response, I opened the doors and entered to see the house in complete darkness. I began climbing the stairs to my room when I heard a voice from the dining area, " Laura come here!" my father silently howled at me. I bit my tongue in irritation then went to where his voice was coming from, he was sitting at the dining table." Yes dad" I frowned knowing exactly why he was pissed at me, " Are you out of your mind?" he hissed at me. " Uh- dad what are you talking about?" I acted dumb trying to avoid what was coming, " Laura why didn't you take Alex with you?" he snapped. " Dad having Alex around was not really necessary" I defended myself, " What if you were killed?!" he shouted. " Dad I'm not dead! I'm okay you taught me how to defend myself remember? Dad please for once trust me!" a tear rolled down my cheek.

Seeing my tear he calmed down, " I'm sorry Laura, I just don't want to see you get hurt" he spoke with a broken voice. I walked over to him and hugged him from the back, " I'm a Luciano dad, you taught me to be venomous like a black widow" I spoke in a soothing voice. " I have a proposal for you, please sit" he cupped my hands in his, I did as I was told and sat next to him. " I've decided to let you take over the Black Widows, tonight you proved to me that you were just as capable as you paint yourself to be. However you will lead the black widows on one condition." he paused, " Anything dad" I reassured him. " Laura you will lead only 60% of the business, you will have a co-partner that owns a legal business to help you both work in the mafia" he explained, I was not upset if anything I was happy, not only am I getting the larger portion of leadership but I wont have to hide from the law as I will have a partner. " Who is my partner?" I raised an eyebrow, " He is a Russo, you will meet him next week at the pass-over...deal? " he explained. I got up from my seat and hugged him, " Thank you dad, deal" I hugged him even tighter.
