I sat in my room until it was 1am and took out my phone. I looked at the lit up screen not knowing who to call until Alex popped into my mind, I was hesitant but ended up calling him.

" Laura? Is something wrong?" he answered.

" Why aren't you asleep?" I asked without answering his questions.

" I was in the middle of something, I'm on my way home" he sighed

" I have a mission tomorrow, can we please train?" I snickered.

" Sure, I'll come in the morning then" he proposed.

" Why not now?" I asked.

" Uh... Fine, on my way" he sounded indecisive.

" Cool, I'll see you soon then" I softly spoke.

I hung up and got out of bed then began making my way down the stairs. I noticed that the house was silent, I looked around and saw that the lights were off indicating that Austin was not here.

I sat in the lounge until I saw head lights illuminating on the windows then minutes later Alex knocked. I walked to the door and opened it for him to come in. I saw him scanning me from head to toe, " Why aren't you dressed to train?" he raised his eyebrow. I was wearing a night gown that reached above my knees in height and had my hair in a messy bun then finished my look with fluffy slippers. " Alex, it's 2 am... who trains at this time?" I laughed, " Ok then goodnight" he turned. " Hold on! Alex we haven't hung out since I started living here, I'm bored come on" I whined, " Laura, you do know I'm also coming on this mission tomorrow, right?" he sighed. I just smiled at him and he understood that he didn't have a choice anymore.

We walked to the bar and sat there while I took out drinks for us, " What are you doing?" he smirked while he sat. " We are bonding" I chuckled, " So this is your version of bonding?" he grinned. " Got a better idea?" I snarled with a smile, " Alright then, do you... boss" he raised his hands sarcastically while I poured him some whiskey. " Don't call me that..." I looked up at him from the opposite side, " But that's what you are, isn't it?" he took a sip of his drink. " I know but Alex, we come a long way, I don't like it when you call me that" I walked to his side and sat beside him. " You're right Laura, we do come a long way but we still don't know much about each other" he smirked and leaned back in his seat. " Ok, let's get to know each other... and let's start simple" I chuckled, " Ok, got any tattoos?" he took a sip of his whiskey and I did the same with mine. " The only tattoo I have is the black widows mark" I shrugged, " Really? I didn't know. So where is it?" he looked fascinated. " Guess" I snickered, " Uh, Ok... is it on your stomach?" He asked, " No, It's between my thighs... not far from..." I coughed slightly and he understood. I saw a smile form on his face then it became a smirk.

" Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked him, " No. Are you and Austin fucking?" his face became serious. " What? No" I tried laughing it off but he maintained a serious expression, " Why? Does it make you mad Alex?" I teased him. I placed my hand on this knee and made my way up slowly, " Laura, stop it" he sighed. I grinned and continued until his hand caught mine and he got off his seat. The chairs were high chairs so when he got up he was still the same height as me when I sat down, " Are you drunk?" He asked as if he was confirming something. " No " I shook my head, " Good" he then grabbed me by the neck and he slowly leaned in closer to my face. " Because the game you're playing is a very dangerous game Laura" he smirked, I did not speak. I looked at his lips craving for him to kiss me, he noticed and inched even closer till our lips touched. I deepened the kiss and I could feel his hand wrapping around my neck in a chocking motion.

He then  moved his hand from my neck and began making his way in between my legs to my heat, but suddenly he stopped and broke the kiss. He looked at me then behind me, I followed his eyes and saw Austin leaning on the door frame looking at us. I could feel my stomach twist into a knot, " What are you doing here?" I didn't know what to say at this point. " I live here, what is he doing here?" he looked at Alex. " Don't worry, I was just leaving" Alex then gulped his drink and left, leaving me in my chair with Austin. " Austin, can we please talk?" I got off the chair and made my way to him, " Nah, I'm good.. I'm really tired. Goodnight Laura" he left. I was angry that he didn't want to listen to me but I was upset that any chance I had with him was now gone. I felt my face burn up at the fact that I had my first kiss with Alex, even though I wish it was Austin.
