As what im pretty sure is cannon ayakas father passed when she was little and her mother suffered from an illness however she passed just a year ago from when this is set, ayaka lives with her brother, kamisato Ayato.
Yoimiya lives with her father, they own a firework shop, yoimiyas mother left for business in liyue but checks up on them every now and then, yoimiya is an only child
(Yes I'm aware this isn't cannon this is just for the story okay? 🤨)
They're both 18 and ayaka takes lessons with her brother and Thoma to improve their swords skills
(ignoring the fact I'm pretty sure Thoma uses a polearm okay)
Yoimiya makes fireworks and helps her dad around the place
