▬ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗢𝗩
Laying on a hospital bed with my sister is beside me, needles attached to our skins. "Teh, nahiya na talaga ako sayo, parang mauubos ko na ata yung dugo mo. Ito kasing animia ko eh." Panying apologized then I reached for her hand and lightly squeezed.
[T: I feel so ashamed, sis. I think I'm taking all your blood. Being anemic is so problematic.]
"Ano ka ba, wag kang mag-alala. Kahit maubos man ang dugo ko may plema pa naman ako. Tsaka ano ka ba andami pa nating alagang pwedeng pagkuhanan ng dugo." I said looked at our siblings.
[T: Oh come on, don't worry. Even though my blood is low, I still have phlegm. Besides, we have many more pets that we can take blood from.]
"Bakit kami?" They said
[T: Why us?]
"Oh, nagbibiruan pa kayo, ang importante Panying, okay ka na ngayon diba? Kaya magpahinga ka na anak." Mom said with worry.
[T: Oh, you're still joking at a time like this, the important thing is that Panying, you're okay now aren't you? So take a break.]
"Okay na nga ako pero nanghihina ako sa pink na suot ko nay eh, baka sa susunod pwedeng blue naman." Panying complained
[T: I'm okay but I'm getting weaker with the pink I'm wearing now, maybe next time it can be blue.]
"Tara na, okay naman na, mabubuhay naman pala eh." My other sibling exclaimed
