an awkward awakening

{Chica's POV}

I woke up groggily, exhausted from eating and partying with everyone last night. Everyone was still asleep except for Freddy. Who was quietly chatting with Roxy, who was still in her pajamas.

"Hhhmmmmmm-! Good morning Roxy, good morning Freddy" I whispered not wanting to wake the others. I felt caution crawl up to me with tired eyes

"Miss chica I'm hungry."

"Oh! I'll take him to get breakfast!" A familiar voice called out.

"Map bot?"

"Brother!!"

I forgot caution See's map bot as a brother, it's adorable honestly.

"Thanks map bot"

He waved and led the child out of the daycare, such a nice fellow! He scares alot of the customers though, he just wants to hand out his maps.

I looked back at sun and dj and- oh my god.

I ran over to Roxy and whisper yelled "ROXYYYY!!!!!"

"WHA-"

"SSSHHHHHHH"

I pointed over to the sleeping pair, where sun had huddled up in DJ's lap after music man had wondered off into the daycare, and DJ was practically using him as a stuffed animal.

"What??"

"Help me!"

"Help you wh-"

I dragged her over to them quietly and started rearranging their position.

"FUCK-" Roxy let out while trying to pry sun out of DJ's arms

"SHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

"ITS NOT MY FAULT DJ HAS A GRIP OF STEEL" she whisper yelled

Freddy sat in a small chair the whole time, watching us struggle to move em around without waking them. DJ was a heavy sleeper so we could practically shave him and he wouldn't notice until he woke up. Sun on the other hand, he flinched every time we touched him.

When we finished I grabbed Roxy and freddy, running away giggling.

{Suns POV}

I woke up without opening my eyes, I didn't want to wake up. Normally I'm awake at a very early time but I just felt so warm... Warm and comfy. I shifted a little bit a flat a arm under me- wait-

I opened my eyes and was right on top of- DJ!?!

AHHHHHH DID I FALL ASLEEP LIKE THIS?!? NO!! I SWORE I JUST LEANED ON HIM A BIT!!

I sat there for a moment, screaming eternally and trying to process what happened. Everything was just... AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I tried getting off him but he wrapped his arms around me and rolled over.

"DJ!! I have to get ready for the daycare!!'

"Five... more minutes... Corn chip..." He lazily mumbled out.

I tried pushing him off but immediately failed, and just gave in. It would be awkward to explain when he did wake up but... Oh well. I closed my eyes and hugged back.

After a bit I felt him slightly get up, and paused then pause.

"Oh shit-" he whispered

I pretended to be asleep. He shook my shoulder a bit and I didn't move.

I heard a small chuckle, then he stood up and walked away. I opened one eye and made sure the coast was clear.

I quickly scrambled up and started cleaning all the blankets and pillows. GOSH THAT WAS EMBARRASSING!!! I really hope he doesn't say anything about it when I see him again.

I ran over to the desk to check the time and... OH DEAR IT WAS LATE! the daycare will be opening in ten minutes and there food and trash everywhere...

After cleaning up around a bit I heard the main door open and close.

"Oh so you were awake."

I turned around and was greeted by dj holding a few bags.

"U-uh... Nope! Just woke up!"

"You sure about that? I could tell you were awake by how you were breathing so quickly."

"I- u-uh"

"Hungry?"

I nodded awkwardly, embarrassed. He set the bags down on a table and walked dover to me.

"Let's finish cleaning first" he said, while picking up empty pizza boxes.

The entire time we cleaned up it was just awkward silence, with the occasional humming coming from dj.

I threw the last few pieces of garbage into the bins outside of the daycare and walked back to see he had set up the food on the table. It was funny how big he was and how small the chair was.

"Sleep well corn chip?" He said smiling from the other side of the table.

"Mhm..."

"Did you perhaps mean to cuddle up on me this morning?"

I couldn't talk without stuttering or just giving up completely.

"W-well you grabbed m-me first..."

"Touche. On the other side you were the one on top of me."

"I must h-have fell on you or something I swear I wasn't trying to-"

I was interrupted by him laughing

"U-HUH, good save" he laughed sarcasticly

"S-SHUT UP!!! I NEED TO GO BACK TO WORK!"

"It's Saturday, the pizzaplex is closed."

"What-? When did that start happening??"

"Ever since the place opened..."

"WHAT?!? FIRST IM NOT ALOUD TO LEAVE AMD NOW I DONT GET ANY DAYS OFF?? THE MANAGER IS SO UNFAIR!"

"Since when aren't you aloud outside of the daycare?"

"Oh- um..."

"It's ok, I wont tell. I kinda suspected it already since you were so secretive when trying to get to around the pizzaplex"

"Really?? You won't tell?"

"Nah, the manager is a dick anyway. He doesn't need to know"

"Language!"

"Heck"

"No!"

"Fuc-"

"STAHP IT!!"

The daycare closed early on Saturdays so we didn't have to work all day, or deal with nap time. DJ helped to entertain the children.

"You don't have to!"

"Let me"

"No! Enjoy your day off!"

"Nope, I'm helping"

I didn't know why he wanted to help but I excepted it and genuinely, it was nice. Moon would normally sit in a corner and not interact with me or the kids until naptime. Speaking of which, moon was no where to be seen today.

It made me wonder what he was up to all day
