Our village moved to Grimrock woods two months ago, we had a witch enchant the land we claimed as our own so we couldn't be found by any outsiders and started from the ground up. We had got use to moving lately as we hadn't been able to find a witch that would help us hide our homes but finally we could have peace in a world with little.
"Petal, hurry up and stop daydreaming we have to meet daisy in 10 minutes!" my sister primrose whisper yelled to me.
I looked at her with an eyebrow raised "prim you're the one that isn't ready" which she just eye rolled at me and continued to change to a different outfit. "you know it's not a fashion show prim if I were you id be going in black since its night time and we are going out of the village which could be dangerous" I stated. Not like the black outfit would help her with her buttercup yellow hair.
Just as I was about to start day dreaming again prim gave me the hand signal that it was time to head out. Creeping past our parents room, up the stairs and out the front door, we were met with daisy who was pacing back and forward along the forest floor. " suddenly her laser green eyes turned to look at us worriedly " I don't have a good feeling guys maybe we should go out looking for shiny things another time" mostly looking at me hoping id agree with her, just as I was about to agree primrose spoke up " look we haven't planned this all for nothing, who knows when we will be able to get out of this village next, this took a lot of planning and on mum and I's last food run I found the most shiniest silver necklace and it would look so cute in my room! " Sighing yet again I knew daisy and I couldn't get out of this and we couldn't let her go alone " okay but for safely I think its best we stay in shrunken form so it's easy to hide if anything/one comes, also hide your scents" I said looking between daisy and primrose and with that we were off on our mission to find some new shiny trinkets for our rooms since our houses were small as we stayed in shrunken form in the village we were only around 30cm tall, however when in human form I'm a 5,1. naturally pixies are normally shorter than the average human height. Stealthily moving across the village ground we reached the boarder where a sparkly see through film lined the village, once stepping through we would no longer be in the safety of our village and we would be prey to what was out there.
Giving the girls a nod we all stepped through at the same time, once on the other side we gave a quick glance back to our village before primrose hand signaled to our left so we started running through the forest floor at inhuman speeds, I mean come on it would take us all day to get there at a normal speed in shrunken form. Following primrose for only about 5 minutes before she slowed down to a walk " It was around here this is the path mum and I take to get food" she said half talking to us and half mumbling to herself. As I walked around the trail we were on I spotted a little bit of shiny chain under some leaves " prim I think I found it!" both daisy and prim made their way over to where I was standing and about 10 human feet away was the chain prim had been talking about. " why didn't mum let you take it when you went past and saw it?" I asked her still looking at the shiny piece of chain. " I'm not sure I wasn't listening all I heard was no, could be a trap and it's the new thing they do these days" she said looking dreamily at the chain "wait a minute... a trap?" daisy whisper yells at us. Suddenly there was the sound of twigs snapping and what looked to be two ugly big djinn looking creatures stepping out of the shadows staring straight at us with an evil smirk on their faces. " ahh I wondered when we would catch us some pretty pixies! Oh you're going to make us rich selling all three of you!!" the one I labelled ugly said. All I had to do was look at the girls and in a flash we were gone running as fast as we could home to our village but at the thought of maybe leading them to our home I decided to let the girls go ahead as I unhid my scent and decided to lead the djinns on another path away from the village. Suddenly I smashed hard into what felt like a tree but when I looked up I was horrified to find another djinn looking down at me with a creepy twinkle in his eye " well aren't you just the prettiest little thing!" smelly said, drool literally dripping from his mouth. He then pulled some powder out of his pocket and blew it right in my face and before I knew it the world was going dark.
