5. YOU ARE IN LOVE

The following day, I woke up as enthusiastic as a child. I couldn't hold myself from smiling all along.
“Ya Y/n, did you win something or what? What's with that creepy smile on your face?” enquired Katrin staring right at my face.
“uh! Nothing.”
“Seriously? You really look red like an apple.”
“Are you sick y/n?” Iseul asked with concern while checking whether I have a fever.
“I'm okay. Completely fine.” I said as I removed Iseul’s hand from my forehead.
“Wait. Then why are you blushing? Ahh!!! Did you had some nice dream? Uh?? Saw any naked man running?”
“What? NO! I'm just feeling hot. But seriously, that dream kind of sounds fun.” I replied to Katrin as I stepped out of the room.

The day went just like how it started. All of friends started to create insane reasons for my weirdness. Hyung-Min even said that I might be having a secret affair and I may have had s6x yesterday. Every minute in the college was exhausting as I try hard to contain myself. Even Baek Hyeon (my boss at cafe) noticed my weird happiness.

After finishing my work, I headed to the park as usual. This time I grabbed two cans of coffee rather than just one. I still don't know why but it just felt natural to do so. As I walked close to the river, I saw him sitting under the tree. Suddenly my heart started to beat fast and legs refused to move. ‘What's happening to me? What is this feeling?’ I almost ran backwards but saw him waving at me from afar. Pushing back my thoughts, I walked towards him, steadying my heart beats.

“Hey, how was your day Y/n?” I'm not quite sure that I should tell you EXACTLY what happened. I giggled as I remembered all the weird stories, they all made today.
“Why? What's with that smile?” “Oh, it's nothing. I just thought of something. Anyways my classes were boring as usual, so nothing much. How about you?”
“Well, it was a busy morning. Had some tight schedule but later was just chilling with my friends.”
“mm... Seems like an outgoing guy.” “But not so extroverted party animal. I just like being in my comfort circle of people.” Hmm sounds like typical introvert, I noted to myself as I grab the coke that I bought.

“Cool... would you like to have a coffee?” “Would you like to have a coffee?” I turned back to him as I heard the same question echoing back at me and I saw him holding a can of coffee extended to me. He noticed that I was holding the same for him and ended into a series of laughter. This incident truly acted as an ice breaker between us which was essential to a point.

Then on we kept on talking about all the things that we really could share. I told him about my classes and friends and so does he. I came to know that he is staying with couple of his friends and they all work together, which sounded way too awesome. As he said all those his eyes were shining with sincerity and simply, Happy. I felt lost in his glowing round eyes which radiated positivity and happiness. Even with the mask on, I could feel him smiling.

As I kept on watching him, talking nonstop with utmost happiness and contentment, I felt a strange kind of comfort.  Is it because he is just a stranger and won't be judging me or because of some weird fantasies that I'm having right now? ‘Seriously? What the heck are you thinking? Jeez y/n, snap out of it. You must stop reading all those romantic stuffs. Literally, you are being helpless.’

“Y/n, I guess it's time for you to leave. The last bus will be arriving soon.” ‘Oh my god, my name sound so sweet when he says it.’
“Y/n?? Are you okay?” I was brought back to reality by the waving hands in front of my eyes and I realised that I was staring at him the whole time without replying. ‘Jeez, such an embarrassment.’

“Oh- Yeah. You are right. I- I must leave. Yeah. Uh- Okey then.” for god's sake, stop stuttering.
“Ok then Justin. Will see you tomorrow. Bye.”
“Bye Y/n. I'll be right here for you.” Wait what did you say? For me? Oh no.
I couldn't sleep for a minute that night. My head was covered with what he said, “for you.”
“What’s there for me?”
“uh!?” I turned my head in the direction of the voice and met with the same 3 pairs of eyes staring at me beside. What a nostalgic scene.

“I think... we all need a girls time. What's wrong with you lately? Coming back late... always thinking about something... And what's with that stupid smile that's plastered on your face?” asked Katrin.

Should I tell them? It's been weeks since I had met him. I think it's time to at least tell them.
“Hello... knock knock... anyone in that brain?” asked Iseul knocking on my head.
“Guys, I need to tell you guys something.”
“okay shoot.” they said in chorus and sat on the ground.
“okay, so I met this guy..”
“see I told you it will be about some guy... see.. See...” Eun Ae screamed at Iseul and Katrin.
“oh shut up! Let her complete.” Scoffed Katrin which made me giggle at how concentrated she looked to hear some gossips.

“So I met this guy in the Hangang, named Justin. Kinda a cool guy. Due to some instances, we got to talk with each other and became a friend.”
“Isn't it common to make friends when you go to park?”
“well yes. Now that's not the problem. I’m feeling something strange when am with him.”
“Oh my.. What did he do to make you feel this bad? Did he say something bad? Ahhh.... Did you befriend any perverts? Oh no.. What if he is some criminal or something?”

“oh fck your mouth. That not the strange feeling I'm talking about.” I snapped back at Eun Ae. “I’m feeling some kind of comfort while talking to him. And i found myself waiting to be with him. What do you think this is?”
Silence... Those three just sat there, staring at me, saying nothing but smiling, which I couldn't stand
“Fking say something...”

“You are in love dumbo.” what!!!! Love??? Me??? To whom?? Him?? For what?? Why??? All these thoughts swirled around by head like revolving stars while they three stood up and went back to their beds like it’s nothing.
