A/N: Poems included in this chapter was written by Ono no Komachi a.k.a. my favorite Heian poet.
I know not everyone will like this but this is it.
Another thing: There will be an epilogue after this :)

He wondered what was taking them so long.
Sukuna returned to the place where they parted, fully expecting Uraume, just like their prior arguments, had been there waiting for him after they both cooled their heads. But much to his concern, the place was empty. He clicked his tongue and sat down on a huge rock not far from the spot and as if sulking, told himself that he would leave in an hour with or without Uraume.
But he didn't.
Where did that brat go?
Frustration building up from the long wait, he had decided to roam the area to find them. Uraume would have returned by this time. The possibility that they abandoned him hadn't crossed his mind. They were too loyal to do that and Sukuna believed they were more than capable to judge appropriately when they calmed down. They've been together for almost a year every day and no one, he bet not even their former master could have read Uraume more than him.
He reached a certain site and his awareness caught cursed energy from unknown sources, faint, indicating that the owners have been traveling at the speed of light. Sorcerers. Consternation erupted and he moved in haste but he was too late.
It can't be.
He could not be mistaken. One of them was Uraume.
It dawned on him that they were taken. Alive or not, he had no idea.
"I should have killed you when I had the chance!" regret mixed with hatred. Regret for allowing them to get caught and hatred for allowing himself to get close to them. Sukuna knew what was waiting for Uraume. A sorcerer accompanying him had no place to be forgiven.
In Heiankyo, everyone should be dealt with according to their status, a pathetic rule that was created by those who belonged to the upper classes. Uraume was nothing but a servant which meant the least they would receive was quick death.
"Dammit!"
Sukuna threw his head up and swore. Overflowing detestation and the need for destruction clouded the logical side of his brain. An uncontrollable berserker rage he hadn't experienced before manifested through him at the thought that the only human he ever liked was snatched away.
Red and black cursed energy swirled around, the atmosphere became heavy as he clenched his four fists, yelling profanities and vowing to kill them all.
In the long years that Ryomen Sukuna had existed, why now? Why just now that he was attacking?
These were the questions running in Gojo's head as the Imperial courtiers around him clamored in panic. All the while, his mind wandered to any reason but he always ended in one conclusion.
