Almost six months has gone by since the ordeal that changed the Hotchner home. Jack's new therapist is making headway and he no longer hates his father. He is slowly coming around to what Alex did to him and with the BAU team visiting him so often and sharing stories and photos, they feel like Jack will be back to his old self in no time. Still, Aaron is struggling with it, wondering what could have been, what would have been. Right now, his place is at home, with Jack, but once he's recovered, what then? Will he want to go back to work or will he want to stay with his son? It's a tough road to walk when the signs point to yes. Hotch knows that what he does is good, but he also knows his son needs him. He's forgiven Jessica and she's quit drinking completely. It seems the world is exactly as it needs to be right now. As Aaron waits in the waiting room for his son's session to end, he sees himself in a new light; and as the door opens and Jack walks to him to give him a hug, he knows he's exactly where he needs to be.
