Chap 3 - 🤍

Beomgyu, Soobin and HueningKai went to the living room to watch Moana, while Taehyun and Yeonjun ate in silence in the kitchen.
Soobin took the remote control and started the film. He then sat between Beomgyu and Kai in the big sofa. After some hesitation, he just placed his hand on the maknae's shoulders.

~~Beomgyu's POV—

I saw the two gums squished together on the opposite side of the sofa.
To be honest, I knew they were close; they slept in the same bed sometimes , they often hug each other, Kai rubs Soobin's belly to comfort him, and so on, but there was something about their relationship that screamed "Friendship". I can feel that they are platonic friends. It has nothing to do with romantic feelings.

But then, when we talk about Yeonjun and Soobin, I can't help but feel like there's something more than just bros. I shouldn't make conclusions this fast. Maybe I'm wrong and they're simply friends ?
But anyways, they can't be in love, right ? If they were, they would've told me and the others, cause friends tell their secrets to each other !

Oh, the film has just started, and I'm already spacing out. I should just relax, and not think about *cough* Yeonjun Hyung *cough* for some time.

After 5 minutes, I felt Soobin squirming on my left. What are the gums doing ? I shrugged it off and focused on the TV. They're teasing each other, maybe, who knows.

~~Soobin's POV--

Why did I do that ? Now we're even closer !! What the hell Choi Soobin ?!

Kai, being the affectionate maknae he is, didn't buldge. That made the situation even more awkward.

Usually, he's the one who makes the moves, I don't do it often (I know Kai says the contrary, but trust me, he's the one who initiate most of the time).

I was relieved a little bit because at least He just concentrated on the movie, without reacting to it. I breath a sigh of relief. But then 5 minutes later, he wrapped his arm around my waist. That took me off guard and made me jump a bit. Huening lift his eyebrow, looking confused as to why I was so surprised. I showed him my thumb, to tell him that nothing was wrong, and I turned my head towards the movie again.

Badum, badum, badum, the sound of my heart having an attack. But what he did next made my heart drop completely. He let his head fall on my shoulder, while bringing me even closer to him, and nuzzled my arm, like it was one of his numerous plushies.

"He's too cute to handle!!", I thought. I started playing with his hair - yes, again -, wich made him hum happily. I couldn't stop a smile from forming on my lips, and we stayed like that during the whole film.

I can't even imagine what would be Beomgyu's reaction to this. He would probably be disgusted. Anybread, that's not my problem.

~~Taehyunie's POV--

Yeonjun and I were waiting for that pizza I ordered like, 15 minutes ago - the pizzeria is near our dorms ?! - in silence. All we coud hear was the muffled sound of the TV playing in the living room. Usually, we would do some small talk; Yeonjun would ask me if I have questions about our new choreo, we would joke about something that happened during the day, or talk about one of our favorite artists... Yet, nothing came to my mind. We were free this afternoon; no dancing, singing or rapping practice, nothing.

At some point, Yeonjun who couldn't support the sound of the silence for this long, tsked.
"The pizzeria is literally one street away from our dorms. We should have gone there instead of wasting time ordering." He said. I shrugged. "But you forgot that we had a long practice this morning and that we're lazy - especially Soobin and Beomgyu." He nodded. "Speaking of Beomgyu, I continued, he's gonna get angry again because Huening and Soobin are gonna act like he's not even there, right ?"

Yeonjun laughed — fake laughed to be precise. "Come on, Soobin and Kai are not as touchy as in front of the cameras or sometimes after practice. I'm pretty sure they're taking care of him, and not cuddling beside him while he's alone." "Right." It's almost as if he was comforting himself. If he payed more attention to the two, he would've already understood it. But it seems like he doesn't want to believe it.

The room suddenly became awkward after mentioning the gumz, so Yeonjun changed the subject.
"Anyways, I saw you were kinda angry earlier. What happened ?"
I internally panicked but tried to stay calm. What am I supposed to say ? "I was jealous because Beomgyu looks at you like you're the most precious treasure in the world ? " No way.

I couldn't come up with a good excuse, so I just said : "I was super hungry, and you guys were taking so much time, so I got a bit impatient." "Oh, okay. I'm sorry, Beomgyu was being overly dramatic, as usual, and I wanted to be a good hyung and help him." I smiled a little.
"Oh, you don't need to say sorry. It's okay. Either way I would've waited a lot for this pizza." Yeonjun grinned, visibly relieved that he didn't cause any trouble.

"Ah! Before I forget, I have a question for you..." he said. "Okay. What are you curious about ?" "Erm... how do I put that ? I kind of... want to know if..." he stopped. "What ? Just say it, I won't judge you." I smiled trying to reassure him. "DoyouknowifKailikessomeone ? I mean, romantically ?" I was taken back by his question. Why does he...? No, don't tell me he likes Kai ! Please !

I didn't know what to say, because I couldn't tell him he liked Soobin hyung... I laughed awkwardly.
"Th-the thing is that..." I stuttered.
Luckily, the pizza arrived, as if they knew I needed help. "Oh, a message from the delivery... they're in front of the building. I'm bringing the pizzas. Just wait here."
He got up and took his jacket. "But it's Beomgyu's turn to pay?" He turned to me. "Don't worry, he'll repay me later."
He grinned while stepping out of the dorms. I sighed. "Eish... I almost got in trouble... Thanks god, the delivery saved me."
