Taylors POV
Oh my god!!! I couldn’t believe One Direction serenaded my best friend on stage!!! I felt a pang of jealousy all the same. It seemed a bit unfair that Zoe, who didn’t even like One Direction, was picked to go up on stage with them. I tried to shake the imprudent, callous thoughts from my head. A faint buzzing in my pocket awakened me from my imagination, and I pulled out Zoë’s blackberry. It was an unknown caller. I debated ignoring the call, but it could have been Zoe trying to find us. Come to think of it, I hadn’t seen her since she went up on stage. I hurriedly answered it.
“Hello, Zoë's phone”
“Hi, this is Niall Horan” I heard a very familiar accent from the other side of the phone. Oh my god!!!!! I mouthed silently, and pulled the phone away to tell Zoë's mom.
“It’s Niall Horan!” I whisper-shouted at her. Her expression was one of disbelief, and surprise. I nodded my head, confirming that I wasn’t joking.
“Hi…” I giggled, and cleared my throat to sound more normal. “Ahem—Hello.”
“I have Zoe, your friend, here with me. She was looking for you.” Oh my god… Niall Horan was with Zoe?! My mouth formed an “o” of disbelief, and my brows furrowed in jealousy.
“Yeah… “ I started slowly, “Can we meet by the doors to the arena? You can drop her off there.” I grumbled somewhat angrily.
“Sounds good” He laughed, as if detecting my jealousy.
“Yup. Thanks.” I droned, and hung up the phone. My emotions were torn between disbelief, jealousy, anger, happiness and surprise.
“Shannon” I addressed Zoë's mom. “Niall Horan just called us. Niall Horan!!” my excitement built with each word.
“You’re—You’re not serious?” she asked breathlessly.
“I’m totally and completely serious”
“No way!” She squealed, dancing around like a little girl. “I wonder what they were doing” she wiggled her eyebrows. I playfully hit her, rolling my eyes and giggling profusely. But I wondered the same thing. What was Niall Horan of One Direction doing with Zoe, a stubborn hater of the band? I didn’t know, but I guess I was about to find out.
