Chapter 3-Dreams

I mentioned about the movie I went to yesterday in my previous chapter right? So I told you guys I'll attach the trailer of it. So I'm planning to attach the sequel's trailer in this chapter and prequel's in the previous one. "It's not at all linked to this story but that movie is really good😭♥️" so that's it.

Adrian's POV...

Coming back to the story:

Glancing at Manik, I asked him "What brings you here?" Manik just smiled at me and gave me his wedding invitation. "I told you about my mate who is in India and I asked her to marry me. Wedding will be held in India next month on the 23rd which is exactly 4 weeks from today. As she's Human and most of her family doesn't know about us, we want to get married like regular people so that they won't suspect anything" he chuckled while saying that. I just shook my head at his blabbering and he continued, "I really want you to be there and I take no for an Answer. My mate's best friends are like vultures and would make my life hell by teasing me. So if I have my best friends there on my special day, I will have some strength to tolerate it" he said.

           
                I took the invitation and said,'' Don't worry, I've already asked my Dad to take care of the pack for a few days and he has agreed but as soon as your wedding vows are exchanged I'm out of there" I told him with a finality in my tone. Manik gave a victory smirk and said, "Okay, as soon as the wedding is done, you can run like your pants are on fire. I don't mind but just so you know, the wedding's gonna last for a week so you have to be there 1 week before my actual wedding day that is 3 weeks from now on". He chuckled and continued "You need some relaxation and who knows maybe you'll find your mate there."

      
By hearing the word mate, my wolf was alert and my heart started beating rapidly. I've been trying to find my mate since I'm 22 and now I'm 26. I let out a sigh in defeat and told Manik that I'll be attending his wedding and dismissed him. He just gave me a knowing smile and left the office. That bastard knows me very well.

                         I closed my eyes and smiled at the thought of finding my mate. I never knew that mate was this important in my life. I always thought that you don't need a female in your life because she will be your weakness. You only need them to satisfy your needs but I learnt the importance of mates from my aunt. She died in an attack and her husband became too weak and killed himself. He loved her way too much to live without her. Even my parents always told my brother Aaron and I about mates. My dad once said, "Adrian, a mate is never a weakness. Once you find her, your strength will be multiplied. You only become weak when you lose her. Why do you think your strength will increase when you find her? Because you protect her and know that she will be there to take care of your and the pack's emotional needs. Never say that you don't want a mate because once you find her, your life will be wonderful".

And since then I've been waiting for her. Before that I was young and stupid that I used to be a player. Ever since I turned 22 and my aunt's incident, I've been searching for her like a mad man. To my luck, she's hiding from me. I think it's a punishment from Moon goddess that I used to talk shit about mates and their bonds but now once I find her, I'll keep her with me and never let her go.

       I've been having these weird dreams for the past 3 months. I see a girl, wearing a red coloured dress and holding her hand to reach out to me but I can't see her clearly. Her face was blurry and when I was about to reach her hand, some or the other way, I would be disturbed from my sleep. Like somebody will wake me up, my alarm goes off or I just open my eyes. When I asked my mom about it, she told me that I'm probably going to find my mate soon. All I hope is that my mom's words will come true.

        I want what my parents' and other people have. When I look at them, they look absolutely happy and nothing would make them go apart. Where are you, My Luna? I'm becoming weak without you.

Kria's POV...

        I'm walking in the forest in the middle of the night. I'm wearing a red dress and the moon was bright and blue. I hear howling, like how my Hershey and Kisses would but louder. I thought they were in danger and I ran towards the sound and when I reached them I didn't find my dogs but very huge wolves. Like 6 feet tall wolves. Instead of getting scared, I walked towards the White wolf with brown patches on his body and there was a baby wolf behind that. It was trying to protect its baby. Suddenly I heard growling behind me and when I turned, there was another wolf snarling at me from 6 feet away. I was scared but I extended my arm to show him that I meant no harm and that brown wolf started walking towards me. I was about to pat his head but I heard a gunshot and I woke up breathing hard. That was a weird dream.

       Hey Friends, I know it's a very short chapter but it's a continuation of the previous one.
