You hear the scrunching of leaves

You turn your head to encounter thieves

Deadly silence between you all

Was broken as a herd of killers call

'Well there's our kill'they say

I turn my head and pray

My eyes shut tight

Screams of horror erupt, makes me regret the outdoors at night

My eyes open to see the gory sight

All done by the killers who could actually fight

They stared me in the eye

I squirmed and thought I could die

They kept their gaze strong and sturdy

I began to hope I didn't look nerdy

I wore glasses big and round

The killers stared continuously like a hungry hound

One raised there knife ready to kill

The others laughed as they chill

Go to sleep said the outstretched smile

Which made me wanna run a mile

I lay on the floor weak yet crazy

While they stood there all oppsy daisy

I laughed and stopped mid way

I woke up From my slumber for today

I realised it was just a dream

As I sat up and saw the river stream

Nature was beautiful yet deadly I thought

Until I felt a tap on my shoulder which suggested I got caught

I swayed my head to see the face

The carved face

I screamed

I thought it was all a dream

This nightmare is now hell

Left me no one to tell
