The clatter of leather boots' heels bumping hard against the marble floor echoed down the hall. A medium-sized sword bounced against the thigh of the slender figure as it hurried across the royal castle.

Young dragon warrior walked past massacred corpses of royal guards and once white walls now bathed in a deep shade of red. Suddenly the enormous, majestic stone door leading to the back of the square swung open.

They saw a maid in front of them, trying to evacuate with the children and the rest of the servants through the back of the building. As soon as she saw this scene her pupils narrowed in fear and her legs got paralyzed. Yet, she somehow still managed to utter;

— No, please! Please, at least spare the kids! Your Majesty Fier... — before she could even finish her sentence, they drew their sharp, shining silver blade and placed the cold steel against maid's neck with a quick movement, a muffled squeal escaping her throat. Terrified children hid behind the butler's shoulders.

— "Your Majesty" my ass! Do not try to call me by that gross last name ever again — royal descendant exclaimed. They took and twisted her arm, pushing female servant down to the marble floor, stepping their heel on her temple.

— Everyone knows that I was never welcome in either of those families. You're obviously just another bunch of useless jerks who only care about themselves — they hissed through clenched teeth and took out their weapon once again, making the slaves tremble before them. They couldn't help but let the husky laugh left their throat at this sight.

Curly ponytailed auburn hair blew in the breeze, blood splashing over slim cheek bones, a wide proud smile formed on their face as they stared into their victim's terrified eyes.
These however were not directed at them as well as the gazes of the rest of royal servants and children, paralyzed with fear.

Those people were looking right into the purple orbs of a demonic beast grinning and huffing right behind royal heir's back, giant purple flames surrounding the corridor.
That was the last thing they saw, as the agonizing screams filled the place when the bodies collapsed on the floor, lilac-colored fire dancing in the puddle of still blossoming scarlet.

— Holy crap, why are those whiny imbeciles so damn loud? Not like I care about getting even more attention, that would actually be amazing. People will finally notice how powerful I am and learn how wrong it was of them to underestimate me — they said, running fingers down the bloody blade — Well, that was kind of spectacular. You could say they died in a lake of roses. I would be grateful if I was in their place, roses are such gorgeous creations, aren't they? But they are so rare. I don't remember when was the last time I actually saw a red rose. I wonder if those plants are more common on Earth — they sighed, putting the sword back into it's scabbard.

— Hark, mortal. As much as I appreciate thou getting me out of Heige, thou are starting to annoy me. We made the pact for me to watch something fun after all these years, yet all I didst was being used by thou as a living buckler when fighting the royal guards. Killing servants isn't really thrilling as well, and I be sure that thou agnize that, Karo — Helzarogh let out a deep, irritated growl. The response was a short, yet resonant and sharp laughter.

— Of course, mister. I understand your concerns. Craving blood is only natural for creatures like us, isn't it? Worry not. I'll just have a small talk with Leena. She, her brat and her room guards are probably the only alive people in the castle. We're going to have so much fun after that, trust me! — warrior replied, staring deep into demon's violet eyes.

— How doth thou e'en wot that she hasn't left yet? She's a queen, 'tis something obvious that they would evacuate h'r first — dark king said with a slight suspicion, his thick furry eyebrows frowned. In response he heard another longer laughter.
