Chapter 1

I groan in frustration, throwing the papers down and dropping my head into my hands, elbows propped up on the desk.
'Damn paperwork...' I grumble, hands slowly moving back down to the pile messily stacked in front of me.
'This is what I get for working at a hero agency I guess..'
I reach for my pen, deciding I couldn't stop yet with how much there was to get done before tomorrow.

I start humming as I write, glancing at the clock every few seconds, only to be interrupted by the slam of a door as my boss walks into the agency and through the offices, smiling and greeting those nearby. I roll my eyes at the group of females that whisper, giggle and attempt to get close to him before getting back to my work, not wanting to have to spend any longer than I need to.
I move the stack to the right a bit, trying to read part of one that currently sat directly in front of me that was currently wedged under the stack. Suddenly the stack gets hit off my desk, making a loud thud and throwing the papers all over, the man who caused it looking back in surprise.

I look up at him, glaring before realising who it was and quickly picking all of them up, making them into another messy pile, but less organised this time.
'Sorry, I guess I didn't pay enough attention to where my wings were ' the man apologises, scratching his neck and smiling awkwardly, I nod and put the stack on my desk.

'It's ok, no need to apologise, I needed to sort them out anyway..' I mumble, watching him nod and reply before quickly turning and go through the heavy double doors at the end of the room.
'Good job y/n... now I need to sort these out as quick as I can' I speak to myself, grabbing the papers are the top and making two small piles, things I need to do and things I had already done.

-time skip-

Finally I was done, I hade finished all I was given today and it was only an hour after I should have left.
'Time to go home, have a bath and get in bed' I stretch as I stand up, pushing my chair in as I pull my coat on and begin leaving with the stuff I need, smiling as I think about getting to see my cat, Sky. She was a beautiful ragdoll, loving and loyal as well as smart.

As I walk down the cold street, I pull out my phone and check any notifications I received. I go on messages as I notice I have one, only to see it's from my adoptive 'mother'. Clicking it I frown, deciding to ignore it and shut my phone off.

Once I reach home, I am greeted by Sky who rubs against my leg and purrs before walking off towards the kitchen, beginning to meow.
'Sky, hun, you've already eaten' I say, crouching down and gently petting her as she continues to meow and paw at the bowl, half full. I sigh and stand up, removing my coat and hanging up and placing my bag down beside the couch, running to the bathroom and starting to run a bath.
I smile as I watch the water slowly fill the tub, quickly running to grab some clothes to change into, making sure I have everything.
I decide it's filled enough once I walk back into the room, closing the door and shutting the taps off and peeling my clothes off, stepping into the warm water. It was nice, relaxing after how much work I had to do that day.

I frown as they left the room I was currently looking in and entering another room that had its window covered.
'This is going to be boring..' I mumble as I move to lean against the tree more and mess on my phone, quietly complaining about how cold it is and how annoying it is that I have to come watch them, not the one who told the, about the person, or anyone else.

I'm sorry it's not much, I'm tired and I'm only able to use 0.5 of my last brain cell right now, I'll make sure chapter 2 is better!
