Friends Already!?

Y/n's POV~

I sped through the house, trying to find the perfect outfit to wear when going over to Casita! I bonded with Mirabel last night and she offered for me to have dinner with her Family, and I agreed, because of course, THIS IS AN HONOR!! I just don't know how my interaction with all of them will be like, especially since I act like a malfunctioning Computer around Camilo. If I make any mistakes, will Abuela despise me? I just hope that all I'm doing is right! I never got to spend an event like this with the Madrigals before, or an event like this period! My Father always isolated me from others because they all loved the Madrigals, but now, I'm old enough to do more than expected!

I ran by the front door where my shoes were placed and speedily threw them on, I hope the dress I'm wearing looks okay. Right when I was going to place my hand on the doorknob, I heard a voice clear from behind me. I turned around and was met from the sight of my Mother making a pouty face with her arms crossed "Aren't you forgetting something?" She asked childishly, I giggled "I know, I know." I replied before walking up to her and placing a gentle yet loving kiss on her cheek. She smiled sweetly "Have Fun. okay Miel?" She teased "Alright Mama! I will!" I cheered "I absolutely disapprove of you playing around those Madrigals, but have fun anyway..." My Father spoke, almost ruining the mood, I stood there silent, same as my Mother "I saw the way you were looking at that Shapeshifter Guy...stay away from him..." My dad said, placing a hand on my shoulder "Ummm..." Was my only response, but I nodded. I'm not really going to stay away from him, he seems like a nice guy, besides, he wouldn't hurt me, he's not a wild animal! I slowly moved my arm from my Father's grip and left out the door, closing it behind me and sighing.

As I was walking to Casita, I looked up at the sky with its mixture of Blue, pink, and orange flowing across my sight, with a couple of Clouds floating from here to there. It's kinda funny how I love the Madrigals so much, but I was too young to remember all of their names, But hopefully they will introduce themselves to me! Once I arrived, I walked up the small steps and to the doors, knocking on it a few times, until suddenly the doors opened on it's own to reveal Luisa and others walking back and forth around the house "Uuuh, Hi?" She questionably greeted "Hi!" I greeted in return. She came up to me and extended her hand "I'm Luisa! Nice to meet you." She spoke, I gladly took it "Nice to Meet you too! I'm Y/n!" I replied "Y/n...Oh! Your the guest that Mirabel was talking about! I'll go get her! Wait here!" She excitingly sped off, leaving me at the front door.

I waited a moment before Mirabel came running down the steps "Y/N!!" She cheered "MIRABEL!!" I did the same. We each other into an embrace, staying like that for a moment. When we pulled away, Abuela had called everyone in for Dinner. I took a seat next to Mirabel as we turned our Attention to Abuela "I'd like to thank you all for being very obedient on this night, for I have a person I'd like for you all to meet!" She said before walking up behind me and placing a hand on my head "This is Y/n! She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs L/n!" She explained, everyone clapped and introduced themselves "Hi! I'm Isabella!" "I'm Delores!" "Hello!! I'm Antonio!" "I'm Julieta!" "I'm Agustin!" "Hey there! I'm Felix!" "I'm Pepa!" They all introduced. I already knew Camilo, Mirabel, Luisa, and Abuela Alma. I know all their names now! "It's Nice to meet you all! You guys sound so nice!" I said, they all said 'Awwww' and 'Thank You', which warmed my heart. "You all may begin to feast!" Abuela claimed, I'll be more than happy to do so.

While we were eating and chatting at the table, I learned more on everyone's special gift. When I was younger, I used to get everything mixed up, but I understand it all now. As I was lost in thought, I felt somebody kick my leg, which caught my attention greatly "Ow." I said before looking up at who did it, and across from me was the Shapeshifter himself, Camilo. He giggled before shapeshifting into presumably me and imitated the way I act, it was kinda scary though, being close up and personal with a person that could transform into others. I jumped in a bit of fear, will I ever get used to that? "Camilo stop, your scaring her." Isabela stated while rolling her eyes "No I'm not! She likes it! Isn't that right, Hermosa?" He teased "S-Stop calling me that..." I coldly said, he only laughed more. His Father, Felix, nudged him on the arm as a sign to stop, he didn't listen. He kept Shapeshifting, talking, and it really got annoying for me, but I didn't want to leave the table on short notice.

As I tried to ignore him, he scoffed and placed both his arms crossing each other and leaned his head down "Your Boring." He said "Well your annoying." I whispered back "And I bet you get this stern behavior from your Father. You'll never have a chance with me." He mildly said, laughing after. This had hurt me terribly, he related me to my cold hearted Father and on top of that, said that I'd never get a good friendship or relationship with him...and I liked him a lot. The tears in my eyes didn't take long to catch up before I stood up from my seat "I'm leaving..." I quietly spoke before walking out the house, not even giving anybody the chance to say goodbye to me. When I made it out the doors, I started sobbing quietly, disappointed in both Camilo and Myself. I shouldn't have ever called him annoying yet he shouldn't have said what he did, I hope this doesn't take a huge impact on me, in a bad way.

Mirabel's POV~

I watched as Y/n sadly left the table and out the doors of Casita, eyes full of tears. I didn't have to think twice to know that Camilo had hurt her feelings, we all know how her dad can be, seen from Antonio's Ceremony Yesterday. The whole table were chatting about Camilo's behavior, and I'm going to have to confront him with Isabela and Delores...

After dinner, Me, Delores, and Isabela went up to Camilo, who was randomly playing with his hair "Camilo..." Isa called out (Isa is Isabela for short ><), catching his attention "We all saw what you did to Y/n back there, her feelings were really hurt. I think she liked you too." Delores fussed, Camilo only yawned boringly "Awww, her little feelings were hurt!" He sarcastically said before forming into Y/n "Oooh, I love Camilo so so much! I'm so sad he hurt my little poor feelings that are oh too delicate!" He mimicked trying to sound like a sad girl before fake crying. Isabela threw flowers at him, causing him to cough and shapeshift back "Okay, so what if she's sensitive or not, what you said was absolutely wrong! You don't say that to a normal person!" I shouted. He started to look ashamed now as if all that we said actually hit something in him...

Isabela tunefully placed a hand on his shoulder "Next time Camilo don't break her heart because Love is in all a Girl's will. Next time Camilo just play your part because you'll make her whole life fulfilled ~" I heard Isabela sing to him- "Next Time Camilo don't be so rude, because She'll find a Man, betrothed to Another!~" "Why are you guys singing?" Camilo asked, Delores and Isabela became "😗" for a moment until He broke the silence again...
