(Thank you to those who helped me decide what Zailrin's disguise will be. Another thing, I ended up redrawing and recoloring Zailrin's finished redesign cause looking at it made me feel incomplete, mostly cause I wanted her to look amazing. Funny enough because I chose to do this she now gives me mild energy, her face looking older.)
I quickly make it to the first floor, tensing as I see three npcs stare down at me. There above me at the top of the stairs were Jealousy, Avarice, and Wrath though Wrath was the only one I actually looked at. I backed up, gaze staring at Wraths wings. Fire. Boxing red and orange fire. I couldn't bring myself to move as a certain stripe suited demon appeared, gasping at seeing me.
"Zailrin, are you okay?"He asked, though I couldn't look way from the inflamed wings.
"I-I, the... t-the-."I said, my legs shaking slightly as I tried to explain myself. Suddenly my eyes were covered, surprising me as my hands reached for what felt like metal armor. My breath hitched, wondering if maybe, just may-
"My Lord."I heard, making me immediately turn and bow my head.
"I'm sorry-"I said, Momonga stopping me by resting a hand on my head. Ah, I should've known it wouldn't had been him.
"Demiurge, dismiss Wrath until Zailrin is no longer here. She cannot handle the sight of fire to a severe degree."He explained, the demon nodding as he did what he was told. I nod, turning to see all the generals now gone.
"If I may, my lord, why are you traveling without an armed escort? And wearing such armor?"Demiurge asked, Momonga patting my head as I turned back around.
"Zailrin's my escort. Don't forget that Zailrin is one of the Strongest in all of Nazarick. As for my armor. Well, there is a reason for that."He said, demiurge opening his mouth before smiling.
"So that's how it is. As expected of a great ruler, your attention to detail is impeccable. If I may, please allow me to accompany you as well."he asked, Momonga glancing to me.
"Fine. I'll allow you and you alone to accompany me and Zailrin."He answered, moving forward. I walked behind him, thankful that went well. Demiurge followed next to me, his tail swishing along with mine as I felt ashamed of my fear. It's impossible to avoid fire along with it being a huge weakness. It wasn't long before I awed at the sky, wide eyes staring up into what looked like a sparkling sea. I looked over when Momonga summoned a necklace, putting it on before looking to me. It took a second before he reached a hand to me, making me bow my head before taking it. I was pulled into him and picked up by the waist, the undead saying 'Fly!' before we shot up into the sky. I yelped before wrapping my arms around his neck, my head hiding in his shoulder. I didn't know what was happening but I sure as hell wasn't prepared for it to happen.
"Momonga, a warning would've been ni...ce..."I trailed off, staring at the sky.
"Whoa...."I said, immediately taking my mask off to stare at the glistening universe. Unnoticed by me Momonga had done the same, both our eyes taking the sky before us."The stars in the sky glitter like jewels in a treasure box." Momonga said, making me slowly nod.
"I believe this world exists so that you may adorn yourself with its intimate riches, and we Guardians exist to help you do so."Demiurge said, making me blush as he saw my bare face.
"Hmm. You could be right about that. Perhaps I was sent to this land to obtain those jewels for myself, along with every treasure that shines beneath them. But, to board such things would be the height of selfishness. Instead I could use them yo adorn the Great Tomb, it's residents, and our friends of Ainz Ooal Gown."He said, making my grip on him loosen as I looked away.
