Once in a magical forest, there was a pregnant fairy living in a small cottage. The name that the soon to be mother gave her daughter was Alvar, meaning warrior. The fairy, Adelina, knew she'd be very strong physically and mentally. You may be wondering, "If Alvar is living with her mom in a small shelter, where is her father?" Well, nobody really knows. Not even Adelina. But, one thing she does know is that, when Adelina was pregnant, her husband went to get food like carrots, lettuce, honey, mushrooms, berries and more. He told her that he'd be back in an hour. She waited one hour and looked out the window. Nobody except a beautiful deer. She waited another hour, still only the gentle creature. Adelina waited a whole day and there was no sign of her husband. Knowing he most likely passed, she held her head and cried. "Don't worry, Alvar." She said stroking stomach. "Everything will be alright."

Soon enough, a beautiful "fayette", meaning little fairy in French, was born. She had beautiful brown hair just like her mother and bright green eyes like her father. The woman held her child in her arms and said "Oh Alvar, I promise I will make your life wonderful. I will do everything in my favour to make you happy." Of course, she kept her promise.

Three years later, the young fairy found a tiny frog. "Froggy!" she yelled, giggling. "Oh! Darling! You found a polliwog!" A polliwog is a baby frog. "Polliwog?" Alvar asked. "Yes, darling! Polliwog!" "Ooooh! Polliwog! Hello Polliwog!" She assumed polliwog was his name. "Mommy! This is my best friend!" The froglet looked up at her and nearly smiled. "Little fairy!" The frog said with a small voice. "Alvar! You found a speaking frog! These are so rare..." Adelina said.

Four years later, Alvar being seven years old, the two fairies, and the frog in the child's hand, went for a walk around a lake. ~crack~ A noise was heard. ~crack~ Again! It sounds like someone stepped on a branch. "Run, before it's too late!"  The mother said. The fayette was confused. But, seeing as she trusted her, Alvar placed Polliwog in her pocket and ran. The youngster hid behind a large tree. ~pow!~ She child got startled and looked behind the tree. She saw her mother, laying on the ground. "M-mommy?!" No sign of life. "MOMMY?!" The froglet peeked out of the pocket. Alvar's heart was beating extremely fast. Tears dropping on her mother, she yelled "NO! THIS IS JUST A DREAM! WAKE UP! WAKE UP ALVAR!" She ran home and cried herself to sleep.
