The yacht cut through the water smoothly. They were headed North, towards Portland, as recommended by Iris. Percy was in the cockpit, once again donning his white captain's outfit. He seemed to be in a better mood.

Hazel and Frank didn't know what happened the night before. He left with his message, seemingly worried and pissed off, then he came back relaxed and in a great mood. He thanked Iris for having them, and led them to the yacht.

They sat on the deck, making a game plan. They would go to Portland, find Phineas, somehow get the information from him, then head to Alcyoneus's lair, free Death, and come back to wait for whatever happens next.

Then Percy asked how they got rid of the basilisks.

"You knew what they were?" Frank asked.

"Of course. I told you. I know a lot of things. I used to know the future, but lately, it's been... dark."

Hazel and Frank absorbed the information.

"Well? How did you?" Percy asked.

"You'll have to ask Frank, he's the one who did it." Hazel said.

Frank looked like he was about to break down. "I. I uh, I don't really want to talk about it."

Percy nodded. He stood up. "Well. We better start moving towards Portland."

Which brought us to now. Hours passed as they sailed. Endless sea for miles around them.

Frank and Hazel took a nap, while Percy stayed in the cockpit. He wasn't necessarily steering, more like he was just there. He pulled out the mini sword made from Rory's feather. It was of shitty quality, and seemed only put together with hot glue.

The blade itself was razor sharp, just like all of Rory's feathers. Dried blood sat where the feather met the handle.

Percy sighed, before putting the feather away. He stood up and looked out the window. Land seemed to be in the distance.

      Portland.

LINE BREAK

Rain fell in the city. The water patted the questers.

"How are we supposed to find a blind man who can see the future?" Frank asked.

The sound of a weed whacker came from across the street. When percy turned to look at it, he struggled to keep in a laugh. "I think I found him."

Frank and Hazel turned to where he was looking. A man was running around in a bathrobe, wielding a weedwhacker. He struck it at harpies as they tried to steal food from him. Food was laid out on a table like an elegant feast that kings and queens would have in Ye Olden Days. The food came from the numerous food trucks.

"HA! DIE YOU STUPID CHICKENS!" The man would scream. "AWAY FROM THE DEEP-FRIED ICE CREAM!"

      "Did he just-" Frank asked.

    "Yep. he did." Hazel answered.

Percy clapped his hands. "Well, let's go bother the crazy man with a weedwhacker. Absolutely nothing is going to go wrong."

They approached, the demigods following behind Percy.

     "Phineas!" Percy called.

Phineas turned around and instantly swung the weedwhacker at him. Percy grabbed the shaft of it before the blade hit him. He wrestled the weedwhacker out of the blinds man's hands and turned it off.
