Neko Life (Retyping parts)

Chapter 4

Eren's POV

Yum.

Me and Levi were eating breakfast. The maid, Armin, had made us pancakes. They were light, fluffy, and delicious. I used to like peanut butter on my pancakes, but now being a Neko, peanut butter is really hard to swallow- and it's really sticky. So I just had a little bit of butter and a lot of syrup!

Right as I finished I felt a sudden urge. I really needed to go the bathroom. But would I have to go outside or something.. Or like in a litter box? That would be so embarrassing!

"What the hell is wrong with you?"
Levi groaned.

I'd apparently been standing up with an extremely freaked out expression on my face. For the past few minutes. "I need to go to the bathroom." I answered.
He nodded and told me the directions. I quickly walked down the hall and took a left, and opened the first door. It was a spotless bathroom. Everything was a shiny white, and some of it had gold-ish trimmings. I quickly finished up, but on my way back I heard Hanji in a phone call. I'm not one to ease drop, but I still want to know about this Neko business, so I shifted my ears and listened in.

"What? Another one? Who's making them?!" She screamed excitedly.
...
"Ooh! What does it look like?"
...
"Pretty..." She drooled.
...
"Of course I want it! How much is she?"
...
"20 million!? That's like 98% of the money I have!"
...
"What!? Don't hang up on me!"
She threw the phone down which hung from the swirled cord. "Gosh darn it!"
She raged. I slowly snuck away as Hanji made another phone call. Whatever she was doing, I don't want to be called in as a witness in court incase she gets arrested for something illegal.

I made my way to Levi's- or mine and Levi's room. Levi was curled up with his black tail covering his nose on the corner of the bed. He looked so peaceful. I wish I had such a decent sleeping face like him. I crawled over to him and got really close to his face. He had a few wrinkles from stress on his forehead, and bags under his eyes, but no blemishes or acne. His skin was a beautiful pale white, and his hair and ears were silky black.
"GUUUUYS~" Hanji busted through the door.
Levi just slowly opened his eyes, and we made direct eye contact. His blue-grey eyes pierced my Green-blue ones. My heart tightened as I slunk to the ground in embarrassment, while I covered my red face.
"It's time for a vet check-up!"
"A what? We go to the vet?" I asked.

"You sure do! But don't worry, we have a privet vet hired. You're 100% protected!! 25% Safe, and 85% Secure!"

"That's 110%."

"Shut up Levi, let's go!" Hanji grabbed the two of us, and hugged us in her arms. I waited patiently while she carried us down the stairs to the car, while Levi had the scariest death glare. It could kill a man. Hanji sat us both in the back, and I huddled against Levi to keep him from murdering the car driver. The car driver had hair that reminded me of a muffin, and a face that reminded me of a horse. He was really tall too.

Hanji slapped Horse Man's back and told him goodluck. I guess that was directed to dealing with Levi. I sat patiently leaning my head on his shoulder, which he didn't seem to mind. And just in case you're asking, no this is not gay-it's friendly.
..very friendly.
I smiled to myself and waited until we reached the privet vet.

It was very silent, a little too silent. A small woman with blonde hair and a shy look on her face greeted me. Levi and I had to split up into different rooms, so it was currently just me and this nurse.
"Okay, your name is Eren, correct?" She smiled.
"Yes ma'am." I answered politely as she sat me down on a metal table.
She checked my heart beat, my hearing, and my reflexes. The thing that shocked me was when she wanted to get a blood-sample.
"Wait why do you need to do that?" I hissed and took a step back. I hate needles. I always feel like the nurse will make a mistake, and it will jab right through me. Or maybe the needle will stab my bone!

"Your owner- oh wait. Forget that. I'm not supposed to share information. Now please come here, Eren."
I struggled for a few minutes, but then they had to get a male veterinarian in there to hold me down while they took 2 bottles of blood from my arm. They bandaged it up, and sent me out with a lollipop. I didn't care about candy! I wanted out of here! But I ended up saving the lollipop for later.

I met up with Levi shortly after, and he had a patch on his arm too. "Did they ask to take some of your blood top?"
He slowly nodded.
"Were you scared?" I asked softly.
"Why would I be?" He mumbled and looked away, ignoring me.
Dang him.

We hopped back into the car and drove home. I wanted to sleep but I couldn't. I was hungry at the same time. I squirmed in my seat and lashed my tail until I accidentally hit Levi in the face.
"Oi, watch it brat."
I looked away slowly and watched the trees go by. Levi must have noticed my stress, because he came over and pat my back.
"Eren, chill. We'll go home and do whatever the hell you want, okay?" He said, with soft eyes.
I laughed and jumped on him. I couldn't resist, I guess my cat instincts are getting the best of me. I laid on his back and gripped his shirt in between my hands and covered my face with it. He smelled like mint, as usual, but I could also smell a hint of detergent in his clothes. The really strong kind.
Levi sighed, clearly unpleased that he was being crushed, but he didn't fling me off. I was quite proud with myself. We sat like that for a while until the car stopped. Neither of us moved, just because we didn't want to. We stayed like this until someone picked us up-which didn't happen. After a few minutes all I heard was heavy breathing and a 'CLICK!'
I look around, and me and Levi spot Hanji right outside the car window.

"This is also going on my blog." She breathed while holding her phone against the glass and shaking like a psychopath-as usual.
